Anfernee Simons Over/Under 27.5 Points
Entering play on Friday, Simons has scored at least 29 points in 3 consecutive games. However, he’s enjoyed a tremendous amount of success from long range during that stretch, hitting 14-of-32 (43.8%) shots from 3-point territory. In 38 games this season, Simons is only shooting 38.3% from beyond the arc, and he’s a 38.6% career shooter from distance. Playing a Rockets defense that has allowed the 10th-fewest opponent 3-point attempts per game since the All-Star Break, Simons could struggle here.

Precious Achiuwa Over/Under 9.5 Points
Achiuwa has scored 14 points and 15 points, respectively, in his last 2 games, but he’s taken only 8 field goal attempts in each of those contests. Tonight, he has to contend with a Magic defense that ranks 6th in opponent field goal percentage in the restricted area since the All-Star Break, which is where the vast majority of Achiuwa’s shot attempts come from each night. The math favors the under tremendously in this spot, with expected regression coming sooner rather than later.

Kyle Anderson Over/Under 10.5 Points
Karl-Anthony Towns has been ruled out for tonight’s action, and Anthony Edwards is listed as questionable, but it’s still difficult to see Anderson having a sizable role on the offensive end for the Timberwolves. Anderson is averaging only 6.2 points per game this season and has scored in double figures only 8 times in 61 games. Dating back to last season, Anderson has scored 10+ points in only 44 of his 135 games, including only 4 of his last 32 road games. Even in an expanded role, he’s not guaranteed to put the ball in the bucket enough to warrant a market number this high.
