NBA Player Props Today – Monday, April 1, 2024

Zion Williamson Over/Under 26.5 Points

Brandon Ingram has been ruled out for the Pelicans tonight, which should mean plenty of shot attempts for Zion Williamson. According to RotoGrinders Court IQ, Williamson is averaging 28.6 points per 36 minutes of action this season with Ingram off of the floor. In his last 5 home games with Ingram inactive, Williamson has scored 27 points, 23 points, 29 points, 28 points, and 25 points. Playing a Phoenix team that has struggled to defend opposing forwards of late, Williamson should have every opportunity to get the job done here.

Kevin Durant Over/Under 24.5 Points

Kevin Durant has posted more erratic scoring numbers during his time with both Devin Booker and Bradley Beal healthy, but this market number is simply too low for him on Monday evening. Entering play on Monday, Durant is averaging 26.5 points on 19.1 field goal attempts per game during March. In 35 road games this season, Durant has scored 25+ points 22 times (63% hit-rate), including each of his last 4 trips to the hardwood. The Pelicans are an elite defensive team, but Durant is capable of hanging 30 points on anyone on any given night. The over is worth a small stab in this spot.

Bradley Beal Over/Under 1.5 Three-Pointers Made

Bradley Beal has quietly ramped up his volume from 3-point territory of late, including 12 such shot attempts across the last two games. Tonight, he gets a matchup against a tough New Orleans defense, but the Pelicans have been slightly vulnerable on the perimeter. Since the All-Star Break, New Orleans ranks 28th in opponent 3-point attempts allowed per game. If Beal can simply knock down a couple of his attempts this evening, we will be in good shape.
