NBA Player Props Today – Monday, December 2, 2024
- Jalen Johnson Over/Under 19.5 Points
- LeBron James Over/Under 31.5 Points + Assists
- Mike Conley Over/Under 2.5 Rebounds
Jalen Johnson OVER 19.5 Points (-105, BetMGM)
Jalen Johnson continues to score at a high level, and the market simply isn’t adjusting to his production. Entering play, Johnson has scored 20+ points in each of his last 5 games, playing at least 35 minutes in each of those contests. His efficiency is likely to regress at some point, but tonight might not be the night for that, playing against a New Orleans defense that ranks 29th in defensive rating across their last 8 games.
LeBron James UNDER 31.5 Points + Assists (-115, FanDuel)
LeBron James has gone under this market number in back-to-back games played on zero days’ rest. In those 2 games, James shot 8 for 19 and and 8 for 18 from the field. Though we have seen James do some incredible things throughout his career, it seems increasingly evident that Father Time is finally catching up to him. James’ remarkable efficiency has regressed considerably in recent weeks, with him shooting below 50% from the field in 5 consecutive games. The wear and tear of the NBA campaign seems to be finally wearing on him in some regards, making this a potentially worthwhile risk at such a high number.
Mike Conley OVER 2.5 Rebounds (-148, FanDuel)
Mike Conley has posted 2 rebounds or fewer in each of his last 2 games, which is creating a buy-low opportunity for sports bettors this evening. The Lakers’ rank only 13th in opponent rebounds allowed to guards this season, meaning that this is not an overly prohibitive matchup for Conley. Conley has eclipsed this market number in 9 of 15 games this season and 62% of his total games since the beginning of last year. This is good value.
