NBA Player Props Today – Monday, February 3, 2025
- Dyson Daniels Over/Under 9.5 Rebounds + Assists
- Damian Lillard Over/Under 29.5 Points
- Jose Alvarado Over/Under 13.5 Points + Rebounds
Dyson Daniels OVER 9.5 Rebounds + Assists (-128, FanDuel)
This isn’t the most favorable matchup for Daniels, but it’s still difficult to ignore his growing role for the Hawks. Daniels has now played 30+ minutes in each game he’s suited up since December 23rd. During that span, he’s recorded 10+ rebounds & assists in 9 of 16 games, including 7 of the 10 games in which Jalen Johnson has been inactive.
Daniels fell short of this number over the weekend against the Pacers, but he still logged 9 rebound chances and 10 potential assists in that game. When playing 30+ minutes this season, Dyson has gone over this number in 3 of 4 games without Clint Capela, 8 of 11 games without Johnson, and 9 of 16 games without Bogdan Bogdanovic.
The math favors the over.
Damian Lillard UNDER 29.5 Points (-110, BetMGM)
Lillard has played 3 games this season without Giannis Antetokounmpo, scoring 36 points against the Cavaliers, 37 points against the Heat, and 29 points against the Bulls. That being said, respectfully, none of those teams have a perimeter defense that rivals that of the Thunder.
The Thunder enter play with the league’s best defensive rating this season. They have held guards to a league-worst 43.2% field goal percentage, including a league-low 32.8% from the 3-point line. The Thunder have been slightly more vulnerable to backcourts of late, but even at their worst, they are a top-10 perimeter defense.
Lillard is averaging 31.8 points per 36 minutes this season with Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton off of the floor, but this is an extremely difficult matchup for him. The under could prove to be a worthwhile risk here.
Jose Alvarado OVER 13.5 Points + Rebounds (-110, bet365)
There is very little data to analyze this season for Alvarado with both Dejounte Murray and Brandon Ingram off of the floor, but it’s probably safe to assume relatively close to 30 minutes for him in a semi-competitive game script. Alvarado played 34 minutes on Friday against the Celtics, with Murray exiting the game after only 8 minutes. Alvarado ended that game with 20 points and 3 rebounds off of the bench, attempting the 3rd-most shots on the team.
Tonight, he gets a favorable matchup against a Denver defense that has been allowing a lot of volume to guards, both in terms of shot attempts and rebounds. It wouldn’t be overly surprising to see Alvarado clear this number on points alone.
