NBA Player Props Today – Monday, November 25, 2024

Jaden Ivey OVER 19.5 Points (-130, Bally)

As of this writing, Cade Cunningham is officially listed as doubtful for this evening’s contest against the Raptors. According to our CourtIQ tool, Ivey is the player who could benefit the most from Cunningham being unavailable. This season, with Cunningham off of the floor, Ivey has seen a team-high 6.7% usage increase and is averaging 25.7 points per 36 minutes. Ivey has cleared this market number in 6 of 16 games overall this season, even with Cunningham playing, and he scored 19 points against a tough Orlando defense in the 1 game Cunningham missed. This is good value for Ivey, facing a Toronto team that ranks 19th in defensive rating across their last 8 games.

Daniel Gafford OVER 9.5 Points (-150, BetMGM)

Gafford has carved out a nice role in recent weeks for the Mavericks, which has led to an increase in scoring. Entering play, Gafford has scored in double figures in 10 consecutive games and is averaging 13.8 points per game in November. Gafford is unlikely to sustain his 74.7% field goal percentage for the entire season, but his recent volume should allow him to continue flirting with 10 points on a nightly basis. Atlanta isn’t the most friendly matchup for players like Gafford, who take nearly all of their shots in the restricted area, but they rank 10th in opponent field goal percentage on such attempts, so they aren’t the most prohibitive matchup either. If Gafford sees 20 minutes, he should be able to get the job done here.

Stephen Curry UNDER 4.5 Made 3-Pointers (-110, bet365)

Curry is the best 3-point shooter of all time, but this is still a tall number for him, in any matchup. This season, Curry has hit 5+ shots from beyond the arc in only 3 of 13 games, including only 1 of 4 home games. Tonight, he is likely to have a difficult time bucking that trend, considering the fact that Brooklyn has allowed the 2nd-fewest above-the-break 3-point attempts in the league this season, which is where Curry attempts nearly all of his long-range shots. The math favors the under.
