What kind of performances can we expect from Mike Conley, Daniel Gafford, and Aaron Nesmith? Follow along as our NBA betting analyst, Nick Galaida, breaks down three of his favorite NBA prop bets for Monday, November 3rd. Monday’s NBA slate features 9 games, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET on Peacock with the Timberwolves taking on the Nets. There are plenty of stars currently scheduled to be in action, including Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, and Luka Doncic.
However, that’s always subject to change, with how the league handles the NBA injury report on a day-to-day basis. As of now, the most notable players who are questionable ahead of tip-off are Deandre Ayton, Jabari Smith, and Tobias Harris.
Be sure to keep an eye on those names. High-usage players being ruled out creates plenty of opportunities in the player prop market and on the DFS scene.

Best NBA Player Props for Monday, November 3rd
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM ET on Monday, November 3rd:
- Mike Conley Over/Under 5.5 Assists
- Daniel Gafford Over/Under 7.5 Points
- Aaron Nesmith Over/Under 2.5 3-Pointers Made
Mike Conley UNDER 5.5 Assists (-135, Bet365)
In 3 games with Anthony Edwards on the mend this season, Conley has posted 4 assists, 6 assists, and 6 assists, respectively. However, the underlying metrics indicate that some regression could be in store.
Despite clearing this number twice in his last 3 games, Conley has only 1 game in that stretch with more than 7 potential assists, and he’s still not playing 30 minutes – even with Minnesota down some talent in the backcourt.
Brooklyn isn’t a good defensive team, but that doesn’t automatically translate to allowing a lot of assists across the board. In fact, they have allowed the 10th-fewest potential assists and 16th-fewest actual assists per game this season to opposing guards.
Daniel Gafford OVER 7.5 Points (-118, BetMGM)
On Monday, the Mavericks will be without Anthony Davis and Dereck Lively II, leaving a sizable amount of unclaimed minutes in the team’s frontcourt available for the taking.
Gafford played only 17 minutes on Saturday against the Pistons, but it was his first regular season action of the year after missing 5 games due to a right ankle sprain. It stands to reason that Gafford should see his minutes increase rather significantly this evening, given that he came out of that matchup with no reported setbacks.
Last season, Gafford scored 8+ points in 31 of 32 regular season games in which he played at least 20 minutes. He scored 8+ points in 21 of 24 games with Lively unavailable. He should have enough opportunities tonight to justify the risk here.
Aaron Nesmith OVER 2.5 3-Pointers Made (-125, DraftKings)
Nesmith has been launching copious amounts of shots from long range of late, averaging 10 such attempts across his last 4 games. On Monday, he will face a Milwaukee defense that ranks 15th in defending corner 3-point attempts and 17th in defending shots from above the break.
It’s still early in the season, but Nesmith has looked much more comfortable at home this year, shooting 40.5% from the field in Indiana, compared to only 29.5% from the field on the road. This is a continued theme from previous seasons, for what it’s worth.
