NBA Player Props Today – Thursday, February 6, 2025
- Jayson Tatum Over/Under 8.5 Rebounds
- Stephen Curry Over/Under 27.5 Points
- Buddy Hield Over/Under 15.5 Points
Jayson Tatum UNDER 8.5 Rebounds (-139, BetRivers)
Tatum has seen his rebounding numbers take a significant dip of late, recording 8 or fewer rebounds in each of his 7 games played. Even more notable from a betting perspective is his lack of opportunities. During that span, Tatum has 4 games with 9 rebounds chances or fewer and no games with more than 11 rebound chances. Until proven otherwise, this is simply too high of a market number for Tatum right now.
Stephen Curry UNDER 27.5 Points (-121, Bally)
Yesterday’s trade of Andrew Wiggins could leave Golden State’s rotation relatively thin on Thursday night, but this is still a tall number for Curry. Entering play, Curry is averaging only 22.4 points per game this season. He’s been even worse on the road, averaging only 21.8 points on 42.1% shooting from the field and 36.3% from 3-point territory. The math favors the under.
Buddy Hield UNDER 15.5 Points (-118, FanDuel)
Hield scored 18 points as part of Golden State’s starting unit. Yet it’s also important to acknowledge the context of those 18 points. He faced a Utah team that ranks 28th in defensive rating this season. He also shot 50% from beyond the arc in a game that finished with 259 total points. The Lakers’ defense is significantly better than the Jazz at defending the perimeter, making this number likely a little bit too high.
