NBA Player Props Today – Thursday, November 9
- Onyeka Okongwu Over/Under 8.5 Points
- Obi Toppin Over/Under 8.5 Points
- Giannis Antetokounmpo More/Less Than 30.0 Points
Onyeka Okongwu Over/Under 8.5 Points
Entering play on Thursday, Onyeka Okongwu is averaging 11.0 points per game this season, but he has been scoring in double-digits on only 6.1 field goal attempts per contest. Tonight, he has an extremely tough matchup against an Orlando defense that ranks sixth in opponent field goals allowed in the restricted area and sixth in opponent field goal percentage in the restricted area this year. Of his 6.1 field goal attempts per game, 4.0 of them are coming inside the restricted area. This is a tough spot for Okongwu, making the under on his points a worthwhile risk.
- PICK: Onyeka Okongwu UNDER 8.5 Points (-105), BetMGM
Obi Toppin Over/Under 8.5 Points
Through eight games this season, Obi Toppin is averaging a career-best 9.3 points per game on a career-high 7.0 field goal attempts. Still, he has only eclipsed this market number in half of his games, with his average skewed as a result of a 19-point performance in a blowout win against the Spurs. Of his 7.0 field goal attempts per game, 4.3 are coming in the restricted area and 1.3 of them are coming via the corner three. Milwaukee has allowed the third-fewest opponent field goal attempts in the paint and the ninth-lowest field goal percentage on corner three-point attempts this season. Toppin is unlikely to have an explosive offensive performance this evening.
- PICK: Obi Toppin UNDER 8.5 Points (-128), FanDuel
Giannis Antetokounmpo More/Less Than 30.0 Points
Giannis Antetokounmpo is off to a slow start to the new campaign, averaging 24.4 points per game – his lowest since the 2016-2017 season. Tonight, he could be in for a larger role on the offensive end of the floor, facing an Indiana defense that has allowed the most field goal attempts in the restricted area of any team in the NBA so far this year. The Pacers also rank 26th in opponent field attempts per game in the paint, which is another area of the floor where Antetokounmpo frequently finds himself. Antetokounmpo is averaging 17.1 field goal attempts per game this year, 12.4 of which are coming in the restricted area or the paint. He could be in for a big night.
- PICK: Giannis Antetokounmpo MORE THAN 30.0 Points
