NBA Player Props Today – Tuesday, December 5, 2023

Devin Booker Over/Under 40.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Make no mistake, Booker is a big-game performer. In last year’s postseason, he averaged 33.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game (45.7 PRA). Since returning from injury on November 15th, Booker is averaging 28.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game (42.2 PRA). The Lakers rank 6th in defensive efficiency across the last month of action, but they have been gashed by big-name guards in that stretch, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Kyrie Irving, Luka Doncic, and De’Aaron Fox. Booker could be in for a big night.

LeBron James Over/Under 40.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

LeBron has publicly commented on the fact that this tournament is important within the Lakers locker room, and his numbers during the group stage supported his words. In 4 pool play games, LeBron averaged 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 7.5 assists on 60% shooting from the field. Even in a non-playoff atmosphere, LeBron has been competitive at this market number on two days of rest this season, with at least 38 PRA in 2 of 3 such games. Facing a Phoenix team that is thin on depth, LeBron could be in for a strong performance on Tuesday night.

Anthony Davis More/Less Than 42.0 Points + Rebounds + Assists

There is nothing that stands out about this matchup for Davis. He has played well this season, averaging 22.9 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game, but this market number is likely too high for him. The Suns are close to a league-average defense around the rim, which is where Davis attempts the vast majority of his shots. Across the last month, the Suns rank 5th in rebound percentage and have allowed the 3rd-fewest rebounds per game of any team in the NBA. Phoenix has also allowed the 5th-fewest opponent assists per game during that stretch, and they have allowed no more than 4 assists in a game to a center not named Nikola Jokic this season. Davis is likely to flirt with this market number against the Suns, but less than 42 PRA is more probable unless Davis has an unusually efficient shooting night from the field.
