NBA Player Props Today – Tuesday, November 14

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over/Under 5.5 Assists

Entering play on Tuesday, SGA has eclipsed this market number in 6 of his 9 games to begin the new season. After failing to record 6 assists on Sunday against the Suns, he has a great opportunity for a bounce-back performance against the Spurs, who rank 29th in defensive efficiency and 27th in opponent assists per game this season. Oklahoma City and San Antonio both rank in the top 8 in pace of play this season as well, which means this game could turn into a track meet, something that is always music to our ears when considering betting an over prop. This is an appealing look for this evening’s slate.

Brandon Ingram Over/Under 5.5 Assists

According to CourtIQ, Ingram is averaging 5.6 assists per 36 minutes of action this season when C.J. McCollum is off the court. McCollum will be on the sidelines again on Tuesday, which means Ingram is in line for another expanded role as the team’s top facilitator. Despite having only 5 assists in his most recent game, Ingram had 15 potential assists, which was nearly twice as many as any other player on the Pelicans. Tonight, he gets another crack at a Dallas team that ranks 24th in defensive efficiency and 26th in opponent assists per game this season. If Ingram can have better luck in terms of his teammates knocking down a few shots, he should be able to hit the over here.

Skylar Mays More/Less Than 8.5 Assists

In 2 games since entering the starting lineup, Mays has recorded 2 double-doubles, with 11 assists and 12 assists, respectively, against the Kings and Lakers. On Tuesday, Mays gets another favorable matchup against a Utah team that ranks 28th in defensive efficiency and 16th in opponent assists per game this season. According to props.cash, 7 of the 8 point guards to have an assists market released against the Jazz during the month of November have eclipsed their pregame number. Mays has a good chance to keep that trend going strong tonight.
