On Wednesday, the NBA slate features nine games, beginning with a pair of east coast contests at 7:00 p.m. ET, followed by contests intermittently scheduled throughout the rest of the evening. There are two games with a scheduled tip off at 9:00 p.m. ET giving bettors plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action tonight even if the work day goes longer than anticipated!

NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, December 13, 2023

Kevin Durant Over/Under 6.5 Rebounds
Entering play on Wednesday, Kevin Durant is averaging 6.5 rebounds per game for the season, but he has been less involved on the glass in recent weeks, averaging only 4.8 rebounds on 8.3 rebound chances since November 21. Last year, Durant converted rebound chances to actual rebounds at the 7th-highest clip in the entire NBA (65.0%). Even if he was able to maintain such a high conversion rate, he would likely need 10 or 11 rebound chances this evening to make himself competitive at this market number. Until we see Durant get more volume in terms of opportunity, the math strongly indicates that the under is a more probable outcome here.

Nic Claxton Over/Under 1.5 Assists
In 12 games since returning from injury, Nic Claxton is averaging only 1.3 assists and 2.3 potential assists per game. During that time period, he has only five games with multiple assists. Tonight, he has to contend with a tough Phoenix defense that has allowed the 5th-fewest opponent assists per game across the last month of action. Not counting Nikola Jokic (for obvious reasons), six of the last eight centers to face the Suns have recorded one assist or fewer. Claxton has a good chance to continue that trend on Wednesday.

Julius Randle Over/Under 1.5 Three-Pointers Made
Julius Randle has reduced his volume from the perimeter drastically to begin December, averaging only 3.3 shots from three-point range this month compared to 5.9 such attempts in November. We could see regression to the mean this evening against a Utah defense that ranks 23rd in opponent three-point attempts and 29th in opponent three-point percentage during the last month of action. Randle is likely to have every opportunity to get the job done in this spot tonight.
