Wednesday’s 9-game NBA slate begins at 7:00 PM ET with a trio of games on the East Coast. Fans and bettors shouldn’t be short on entertainment, with plenty of star players scheduled to be in action, including Donovan Mitchell, Nikola Jokic, Jalen Brunson, and more!

That being said, it’s still important to make sure everyone is keeping tabs on the NBA injury report ahead of tip-off. Paolo Banchero and Trae Young remain out. Jamal Murray, Norman Powell, and others are listed as questionable as of this writing.

As always, make sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to search for market inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Below, you can find 3 of my favorite picks for Wednesday, December 3rd!

Shaedon Sharpe OVER 20.5 Points (-105, BetMGM)

Sharpe has played 5 games without Jrue Holiday this season – he’s scored 23+ points in each of the 3 games in which he’s played more than 22 minutes.

On November 26th, he scored only 11 points in 22 minutes in his first game back following a week-long absence due to injury. On November 30th, he fouled out in 22 minutes, scoring 7 points. In the other 3 games, he has yet to play fewer than 30 minutes, so it seems safe to expect him to be around that number tonight against the Cavaliers.

According to CourtIQ, Sharpe is averaging 23.9 points per 36 minutes this season with Holiday off of the floor. He should have plenty of volume tonight, especially if some of Portland’s other key contributors who are listed as questionable end up getting ruled out.

Lonzo Ball OVER 3.5 Assists (-125, BetMGM)

Ball hasn’t played in either of the team’s last 2 games but appears poised to return to the floor this evening. He’s only played 1 game this season in which Darius Garland was active and Jarrett Allen was inactive, but the result was 5 assists on 9 potential assists.

According to CourtIQ, Ball has averaged 4.2 assists per 20 minutes this season with Allen off of the floor. Ball should see closer to 25 minutes, but even a conservative projection for his playing time should afford him ample opportunity to clear this line.

LaMelo Ball OVER 8.5 Assists (+112, FanDuel)

Add this pick with 1 click!PLACE THIS BET ONFANDUEL

This season, Ball has recorded 8+ assists in all 8 games he’s played without Brandon Miller, including 6 games of 9+ assists. According to CourtIQ, Ball has averaged 10 assists per 30 minutes with Miller off of the floor.

Ball gets a favorable matchup against the Knicks – a team that ranks 15th in defensive rating and has allowed the 4th-most assists per game to guards since November 15th.
