NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, March 5, 2025

Naz Reid OVER 17.5 Points (-125, DraftKings)

Reid has arguably been the biggest beneficiary of Rudy Gobert’s absences this season. In 8 games played without Gobert, Reid has scored 20+ points 6 times, including all 3 such games on no days of rest.

Tonight, Reid gets a good matchup against the Hornets, which rank 8th in pace and 24th in defensive rating across their last 8 contests. Reid has attempted 15+ shots in 8 of his last 9 games entering play on Wednesday. He should have every opportunity to get the job done.

Donte DiVincenzo UNDER 13.5 Points (-120, bet365)

Minnesota will once again be without Rudy Gobert on Wednesday, but that isn’t necessarily a great thing for DiVincenzo. In 4 games this season with Gobert unavailable, DiVincenzo only has 1 game with more than 12 points. Similarly, DiVincenzo has scored 11 points or fewer in each of the 4 games that he’s played without Mike Conley available this year.

Charlotte is one of the lesser defensive teams in the NBA, but this line is clearly factoring in the favorable matchup. DiVincenzo would likely need to be unusually efficient from the floor this evening to get to 14+ points.

Cade Cunningham UNDER 25.5 Points (-115, bet365)

Cunningham enters play on Wednesday averaging 25.3 points per game this season, but his scoring production has been quite erratic of late. He scored 29 points on Monday against Utah, but he had scored 21 points or fewer in each of his 3 prior trips to the hardwood.

Tonight, he gets a seemingly favorable matchup against the Clippers, which have been extremely vulnerable against opposing guards of late. However, the team’s perimeter defense could actually get a boost with Norman Powell unavailable. The Clippers held Devin Booker to only 17 points yesterday, and Bradley Beal didn’t manage a single bucket.

Cunningham is a talented player, but there is some value on the under.
