NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, October 30, 2024

Evan Mobley OVER 27.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110, BetMGM)

Evan Mobley is a prime breakout candidate in Kenny Atkinson’s new offense in Cleveland. Mobley hasn’t had fewer than 25 PRA in a game yet this season, meaning that he’s been consistently competitive at this market number. The Lakers have been strong overall to begin the new campaign, but they rank only 20th in defensive rating after 4 games and have struggled to keep opposing forwards off of the glass. Mobley could be positioned for a big night.

Tyrese Maxey OVER 5.5 Assists (-124, Bally)

Tyrese Maxey still hasn’t had a game with more than 4 actual assists yet this season, but he’s had 10+ potential assists twice, indicating that he’s had enough volume to warrant this market number being where it is on Wednesday. He gets a favorable matchup against Detroit – a team that has allowed 12 potential assists to Tyrese Haliburton, 11 potential assists to Andrew Nembhard, and 11 potential assists to Darius Garland already this season. Maxey is still clearly the top facilitator for Philadelphia, giving him a good chance to get the job done for us in front of his home fans.

James Harden OVER 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115, FanDuel)

The market continues to undervalue James Harden in his new role as the clear alpha of the Clippers offense. Harden has posted 49 PRA, 45 PRA, and 41 PRA, respectively, to open the new campaign despite shooting only 36.2% from the field and 19.2% from 3-point territory. He’s averaging the 13th-most field goal attempts per game and the 6th-most free throw attempts per game of any player in the NBA entering play on Wednesday. Any amount of positive regression shooting the basketball should be more than enough to take us home in this spot. Harden is always a triple-double threat, so including those two categories here as well makes sense.
