On Tuesday night, the NBA returns with a pair of marquee matchups on TNT. The action begins with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers taking on Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets at 7:30 p.m. ET. Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns will play Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors at 10:00 p.m. ET to close the mini-slate.

In this article, we will never post a ticket with shorter than +700 odds, meaning that we only need to hit once each week to be in good financial shape. As always, it is worth noting that straight wagers are a far more profitable long-term betting strategy than parlays.

Still, parlays can be a fun way to get some extra action on a game to make things interesting! If looking for a longshot for today’s NBA slate, we have a +750 same game parlay, focusing on the matchup between the Suns and Warriors!

NBA Same Game Parlay Picks Today

Klay Thompson OVER 4.5 Three-Pointers Made (+130)

Klay Thompson has some of the most stark home-and-away splits of any player in the NBA on an annual basis. Last year, Thompson averaged 4.9 made three-pointers per game at home on 42.4% shooting, compared to 3.8 made three-pointers per game on the road on 39.6% shooting. As a result, he averaged 24.2 points per game at home, compared to 19.2 points per game on the road. Those splits held consistent during the 2021-2022 campaign as well for Thompson. Tonight, he gets to play in front of his home fans against a short-handed Phoenix backcourt that will be missing Bradley Beal. This is a worthwhile inclusion in today’s parlay.

Kevon Looney OVER 11.5 Rebounds (+190)

Kevon Looney averaged 9.9 rebounds per game at home last season, compared to 8.6 rebounds per game on the road. During the postseason, Looney was even more dominant, averaging 15.1 rebounds per game against the Sacramento Kings and 10.7 rebounds per game against the Los Angeles Lakers before his team was eliminated. The Phoenix Suns are unlikely to be an elite rebounding team this upcoming season, which gives this play value on opening night, especially with Draymond Green not in the lineup.

Devin Booker OVER 5.5 Assists (-220)

The Phoenix Suns have one of the most star-studded lineups in the NBA heading into the new campaign, but that have a concerning lack of depth behind their big three of Bradley Beal, Devin Booker, and Kevin Durant. Tonight, Beal will be held out of the action, which leaves Booker and Durant as the team’s top two playmakers. Beal should handle the majority of floor general responsibilities, which should result in him racking up a fair number of assists in this contest. The Golden State Warriors were mediocre at disrupting passing lanes last season, which makes this a targetable matchup for Booker to hit the alt-over on his assists.
