NFL DFS DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey: Week 7 Picks

Rank your three favorite players for cash games, in order:

Analyst Rank 1 Rank 2 Rank 3
Notorious Christian McCaffrey (DK) / Jahmyr Gibbs (FD) George Kittle Matthew Golden
stevietpfl Woody Marks Christian Watson Christian McCaffrey
Krayton Woody Marks Jahmyr GIbbs Chris Godwin Jr.
ebeimfohr Woody Marks Matthew Golden Jahmyr Gibbs
ncorfield8k Jordan Love Matthew Golden George Kittle
Davis Mattek Woody Marks Matthew Golden Breece Hall / Braelon Allen (Whoever starts)
Jordan Vanek Woody Marks Amon-Ra St. Brown (DK) / Christian Watson (FD) Derrick Henry (DK) / George Kittle (FD)

What is your favorite correlation and why?

Notorious: Jordan Love + Matthew Golden + Jahmyr Gibbs or Amon-Ra St. Brown – This should be a fairly popular stack, but it’s still my favorite. I want as much exposure to Lions games as I can possibly get. It has yet to fail me, and I still don’t think the field is getting enough exposure to these games. The Packers haven’t been able to run the ball this season, and their defense has taken a major step back, which has led to a lot more Love dropbacks. He’s played well, and he has found a favorite target in Golden, who is still underpriced on both DraftKings and FanDuel. I’ll bring back the stack with Gibbs or St. Brown, who are both in great spots.

stevietpfl: J.J. McCarthy + Malik Nabers + Woody Marks – I will say that I’m a sucker for a value quarterback, and we get a lot of value in this game in general. I want to fit in some of that DET/GB game, so I’m turning to this game as one of my favorite stacks. Jawhar Jordan has been ruled out, and David Montgomery is doubtful. Marks played 78% of the snaps last weekend and looks to be in line for a similar workload in a plus matchup. I don’t know what to expect from McCarthy, but he did force the ball to Malik Nabers in the fourth quarter last weekend. Nabers had over 100 yards receiving in the 4th quarter alone. I expect the Giants to throw the ball against this secondary, and for the third straight week, I expect Nabers and Likely to have success.

Krayton: Jordan Love + Christian Watson + Jahmyr Gibbs – This is my favorite game stack on the slate. The Packers are really starting to gel, and they now get an elite matchup against the Lions, who are giving up over 320 yards per game and are one of the best teams for opposing QBs. Love has elite targets in Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, and Tucker Kraft, and I will be mixing in each of those players in my multi-entry builds this week. Kraft hasn’t carried much ownership this season, and he’s steadily been getting between 5-8 targets in each of his last 4 games. On the Detroit side, I am simply loading up on Jahmyr Gibbs. He’s been the top RB by quite a bit all season. The Packers defense gave up a big game to one of the other top RBs in Bijan Robinson. This is a game I want a lot of exposure to and is a game I am building around in my single-entry contests.

ebeimfohr: Zay Flowers + Ja’Marr Chase – I may not be able to jam the QBs in here, but Flowers and Chase are top priorities for me on this slate. The status of Lamar Jackson and the GB/DET game is keeping ownership low here, but these players have nuclear ceilings at low ownership, and they can serve as pivots off the chalk in their salary range. Jackson continues to say he’s headed in the right direction, and he’s been practicing this week. With Jackson, Flowers is one of the super elite fantasy WRs in the league, but he’s not priced that way, especially in a game in which they are going to be pushed to score against a strong Bengals offense. That Bengals offense is led by Chase, who projects for a fraction of the ownership of the chalk WRs, and he has gone over 100 yards in each of his last 4 games against the Ravens while averaging nearly 120 yards per game in this matchup.

ncorfield8k: Bo Nix + Jaylen Waddle – This pair has been underwhelming so far this season. They also haven’t faced a single defense that is a positive matchup for quarterbacks in terms of schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game (SAFPPG) allowed. They get a great matchup with the Cardinals, who have allowed the 3rd-most SAFPPG to quarterbacks and the 7th-most to slot receivers, per Fantasy Points Data. Their prices have decreased. And they’re both projected for single-digit pOWN%.

Davis Mattek: Bo Nix + Jaylen Waddle – If Nix is really this bad, then I will be wrong. The truth of his skill level has to be between what we saw last season and how horrible he has been this season. Waddle’s route and target shares are basically fine, more or less in line with his career averages. This is an ultimate get-right spot against a bottom-third defense. With the chalk so condensed this week, you can do Nix plus Waddle and optimal players along with them.

Jordan Vanek: Jordan Love + Christian Watson + Tucker Kraft -Love is in a great spot to put up a big game this weekend, and there are legitimate stacking options in Christian Watson, Tucker Kraft, and Matthew Golden. The reason I’m leaning toward Watson and Kraft comes down to their individual matchups and how I expect them to win. With Josh Jacobs returning, the Packers should have more opportunities to attack off play action, and Watson and Kraft have been the biggest beneficiaries of those looks this season. When you look at the QBs who have put up big passing numbers against Detroit, a common theme has been the opposing WR1 having a big game with a TE producing alongside him. I think Watson and Kraft fit that mold perfectly this weekend.

Who’s your favorite contrarian play (below 10% pOWN%) and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
