What is your favorite correlation and why?

Notorious: Jaydon Blue + Darius Slayton – I love the skinny stack in this game. The Cowboys will be without Javonte Williams and Malik Davis. Additionally, they are facing one of the worst run defenses in the NFL, so Blue feels like a free square at his price point. On the other side, the Giants have ruled out Wan’Dale Robinson. Darius Slayton should see an uptick in targets against a defense that has allowed more fantasy points to wide receivers than any other team in the NFL.

stevietpfl: Trevor Lawrence + Parker WashingtonParker Washington is coming off back-to-back great games. He has been killing it in the slot for Jacksonville down the stretch. This is a big game for the Jags, but they still need Denver and New England to lose. Over the last 2 games, Washington has a 26% target rate, 260 yards, and 38.3% of the team’s air yards. Lawrence has been playing well all season, and he is 248 passing yards away from a 4,000-yard campaign. This is a great matchup against the Titans, who continue to struggle defensively.

Krayton: Caleb Williams + Luther Burden III + Jahmyr Gibbs – I want exposure to this Bears game, and we just saw Williams in a shootout last week with Brock Purdy, going for 330 passing yards and 2 touchdowns. Williams is now just 270 passing yards short of 4,000 on the season. Detroit is giving up the 6th-most passing touchdowns per game at 1.8, and we saw Williams throw for 207 yards and 2 touchdowns in this matchup earlier this season. Burden has been fantastic without Rome Odunze, and he’s coming off a big game against the 49ers as well. I am not seeing all that much ownership on this game, and I like getting Gibbs on the other side as a nice spend-up option. We saw Christian McCaffrey put up huge numbers against the Bears last week, as they had no answer for him. I think Gibbs could easily be the highest-scoring RB on the slate.

ebeimfohr: Trevor Lawrence + Brian Thomas Jr. – Lawrence is one of the top QB plays of the week, and he’ll be rightfully popular. The Jags will be playing to win, Lawrence has been playing outstanding football, and he draws a great matchup against a very poor Titans pass defense. But the field is going to stack him with Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington this week. That makes sense, but BTJ is just as viable for a huge week and is lower owned. He is getting healthier, and they’ve just missed on some big plays to him the last couple of weeks. The talent is still there, and he has just as much upside as his teammates at a fraction of the ownership.

Davis Mattek: Caleb Williams + Luther Burden III + Colston Loveland – The Lions have been eliminated, and the Bears are playing for seeding. The coaches have suggested that they would like to see Williams get to 275 passing yards, and his top 2 pass catchers will be Burden and Loveland, the same way it was against the 49ers. This is a premium stack at low prices and low ownership.

Jordan Vanek: Jaxson Dart + Darius Slayton + Isaiah Hodgins + Jaydon Blue + George Pickens – This Cowboys secondary is still really bad, and Jaxson Dart has no ability to slide; he’s always looking to score. Without Wan’Dale Robinson, I expect Isaiah Hodgins to become Dart’s primary safety blanket, which sets him up for a high-reception game. From the Dallas side, I like running it back with Jaydon Blue and George Pickens. The Giants blitz and play a lot of man coverage under their new defensive coordinator, and Pickens leads the NFL in yards against man blitzes this season, averaging over 4.5 yards per route run in those situations. As for Blue, this is one of the worst run defenses in the league, the Cowboys’ offensive line should control the game, and this feels like a spot where they’ll want to see what he can do.

Who’s your favorite contrarian play (below 10% pOWN%) and why?

He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
