What is your favorite correlation and why?

Notorious: Javonte Williams + Broncos D/ST – Funny enough, my second favorite correlation is another running back and defense combo (JK Dobbins + Chargers D/ST). This is about as perfect of a spot as you will find for Williams. The Broncos have a high pass rate (63%) this season but have been trailing in a lot of their games. As 9-point favorites at home against the worst run defense in the NFL, Williams should have a field day. He has had at least 17 touches in 3 of his last 4 games and found the end zone twice last week. He pairs nicely with the Broncos D/ST, as they get to tee off against Bryce Young and an injured Panthers offense.

SquirrelPatrol: Derrick Henry + BAL D/ST – The last time we saw Jameis Winston as a full-time starter for the season was in 2019 when he threw 30 interceptions, the most in the NFL since 1988. Cleveland could keep throwing the ball against the Ravens, who have given up the most passing yards and the fewest rushing yards per game in the NFL this season. Pairing a Ravens defense that should have plenty of opportunities to score along with Derrick Henry (currently -330 for an anytime TD and has 40% implied odds for 2+ TDs), seems like a natural but under-owned pairing on a slate with so much value.

Stevietpfl: Javonte Williams + Denver D/ST – Denver is a 10-point home favorite against Carolina. Williams has at least 13 carries in 3 of his last 4 games. He’s also rushed for at least 60 yards in 3 of his last 4 games. Carolina has allowed 162.1 rushing yards per game, which is the most in the NFL. I think this is a great spot for Williams and the Denver defense. Bryce Young is back at quarterback, and he struggled in his first 2 starts this season. The Broncos defense has scored double-digit fantasy points in 5 of 7 games.

Krayton: Caleb Williams + DJ Moore – Williams had two back-to-back elite fantasy outings before they had their bye week last week. He is coming off a 4-TD performance against the Jags and is set up for success once again facing the Commanders. They have been playing a lot of man coverage the last 3 games, and this is a spot where Moore can shine, as he has been elite against man coverage. We have also seen Williams have some more rushing upside, as he is coming off a game against the Jags with 56 rushing yards. The Williams + Moore combination isn’t that expensive and offers elite upside. It also allows you to play some of the more popular plays, including Tyreek Hill and DeVon Achane.

ebeimfohr: Tyreek Hill + James Conner – Even with all of the cheap value options, I think Tyreek is the most underpriced player on the board with the likely return of Tua Tagovailoa. The difference in both floor and ceiling for Tyreek with Tua is through the roof, and it turns this game into a more likely shootout. Tyreek’s big-play ability is the perfect complement to Conner, who is game-script proof with his pass catching, and he has been the engine of the Cardinals’ offense, with 3 games of 100+ rushing yards. The Dolphins’ defense has been a run funnel and very poor stopping the run, so Conner can either benefit from pass catching in trail mode or force the Dolphins into more passing by dominating on the ground.

ncorfield8k: Jameis Winston + David Njoku + Cedric Tillman – The Browns are in a great spot against a Ravens defense that has given up the most passing yards per game this season by a fairly large margin. Winston may be able to breathe life into this offense. We know he’s not afraid to sling it. And Browns pass catchers are priced like they have a broken Deshaun Watson at quarterback. There are several value quarterbacks who project better than Winston, but that just makes me like him more, as he’s projected for very low ownership.

Davis Mattek: Jordan Love + Jayden Reed – If I am reading the slate correctly, the QB who leads the NFL in passing TDs and his most efficient WR will be amongst the most unique combos of the slate. The Jaguars’ defense has given up huge spikes to Josh Allen, Drake Maye, and Joe Flacco. Coming off of a low efficiency week, it is my guess that Reed is less than 8% owned in small-field contests, yet he is clearly the Packers’ WR ceiling play.

Who’s your favorite contrarian play (below 10% pOWN%) and why?
