What is your favorite correlation and why?
Notorious: Jonathan Taylor + Colts D/ST – I know he’s getting up there in price, but I can’t stomach a fade of Taylor right now. He’s one of the most talented running backs in the NFL, he plays behind one of the best offensive lines in the NFL, and he has one of the best roles in the NFL. On top of that, he’s been so good near the goal line that the Colts are happy to hand the ball off to him over and over again. He has scored 10 rushing touchdowns in the last 5 games alone. He should see 20+ touches this week against the Titans, who are 24th in EPA against the run and 29th in fantasy points allowed to running backs. He pairs nicely with the defense, which is playing at home against a rookie quarterback.
stevietpfl: Bo Nix + Courtland Sutton + CeeDee Lamb – Lamb returned in Week 7 and had 5 catches on 8 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown. Dallas dominated Washington in that game, but it’s clear that Lamb continues to be the main target in this offense. Denver has a great defense, and I expect Dak Prescott to rely on his #1 target in this matchup. Sutton has 31.3% of the team’s air yards and 30.1% of the team’s total receiving yards this season. He has a 24.7% first-read rate and continues to be the lead receiver in this offense. Dallas has allowed the most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season. They’ve also allowed 276.9 passing yards per game, which is the 2nd most in the NFL. They’re also 30th in pass EPA.
Krayton: Bo Nix + Courtland Sutton or Marvin Mims Jr. + CeeDee Lamb – I have loved targeting teams against the Cowboys defense, which has allowed the most total yards and passing yards in the NFL. I love the ceiling potential for Nix in this elite matchup, and as much as I love playing Sutton, I also love Mims and Troy Franklin as great cheaper options. Both Lamb and even Javonte Williams (in a revenge game) are great bring-back options, as I expect this game to put up a lot of points. We have seen QBs make the most of their opportunities against the Cowboys defense this season, and I don’t expect it to change. I love this game stack and really like the Cowboys side too.
ebeimfohr: Bo Nix + 2 of Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims Jr., and Troy Franklin – I am looking to jam as many of the expensive studs as I can this week, particularly at the RB position, so it’s a priority to find a cheap stack with real upside. Luckily, the fantasy gods gave us the Broncos passing game in the “Coors Field” of fantasy football (a matchup with the Cowboys) at cheap prices. The Cowboys can score on anyone, especially with CeeDee Lamb back, but their defense really struggles to stop anyone. Nix just flashed his upside last week, both through the air and on the ground, with nearly 40 fantasy points, and his stacking partners are affordable. Sutton is the priority as the clear lead dog in the WR room, but Franklin is running all the routes and drew 10 targets last week, and Mims has slate-breaking upside with his big-play ability for a super cheap price.
ncorfield8k: Caleb Williams + Rome Odunze + Colston Loveland + Zay Flowers – This is a game with mega shootout potential. Lamar Jackson has the highest pOWN% of any quarterback on the slate, but Williams will be contrarian at a much cheaper price tag. If Williams does well, he’ll bring at least one pass catcher along with him- and very likely two. Odunze has been his favorite target all season, and Loveland could finally get a shot with Cole Kmet out. Flowers is too cheap for his role with Jackson back.
Davis Mattek: Lamar Jackson + Zay Flowers – In games that Lamar has played this season, Flowers has a 30% target share, and this is a huge leverage stack on Derrick Henry, who will likely be one of the highest-owned players on the slate. Flowers himself will probably be chalky, but because there is not a ton of cheap value out there, I do not anticipate Lamar himself being too highly owned.
Jordan Vanek: Bo Nix + Courtland Sutton + Marvin Mims Jr. – The Cowboys are coming off their best defensive performance of the season, leaning into one of the highest man-coverage rates in the NFL. It simplified their approach and let their defenders simply line up and cover. But this week is a very different challenge. They’re not facing Luke McCaffrey, Robbie Chosen, and Chris Moore – they’re facing a far more talented Denver receiving corps. With that upgrade in competition, I expect Bo Nix to be much more efficient through the air than he was last week. The Cowboys pass rush isn’t close to the level the Giants brought, so Sean Payton should feel more comfortable dialing up shot plays. And when Denver looks for explosive plays against man coverage, the ball is going to Courtland Sutton or Marvin Mims Jr. Both Sutton and Mims have been Denver’s best receivers in terms of efficiency vs. man coverage, and I don’t think the Cowboys will be able to eliminate those big-play opportunities.

He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
