NFL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Week 15
What is your favorite correlation on the slate and why?
Notorious: Matthew Stafford + Antonio Gibson – This isn’t the most conventional stack, but they are two of my favorite plays at their respective positions, and they are playing in the same game. Stafford gets to square off against the Commanders, who are dead last in the NFL in DVOA against the pass, dropback EPA, and fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. I don’t have a favorite pairing option, but Cooper Kupp, Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua, and Demarcus Robinson are all in good spots. Gibson will draw the start for the injured Brian Robinson and should be heavily involved regardless of the game script.
Krayton: Dak Prescott + CeeDee Lamb – This QB/WR combination is projected for very little ownership, as some of the value QBs such Matthew Stafford and Brock Purdy are much cheaper and in great spots this week. I like both Stafford and Purdy; however, Prescott and Lamb are my favorite tournament pairing this week, as they have been absolutely smashing all year long and now they get a game in Buffalo with a 50 total and just a 2-point spread. Buffalo’s defense is struggling, and Lamb has scored 7 touchdowns in the last seven games, while Dak has thrown for 22 touchdowns. There is just so much upside with these two players, and when there’s an opportunity to get them at low ownership, I am in. I also don’t even mind having Tony Pollard in the same lineup with both Dak and CeeDee looking to capture all of the offensive points.
ebeimfohr: Josh Allen + Gabe Davis – While the field gravitates to the cheaper stacks and focuses in on the Rams game, I’m looking to the Bills/Cowboys game where I think we see some major fireworks. The Bills are playing for their playoff lives, which means leaning more on Josh Allen, and we’ve seen that result in 40+ point fantasy games just recently. Meanwhile, Gabe Davis is the perfect post-hype sleeper, as he caught a little steam last week and goose egged against the Chiefs. But he’s a boom-bust player with a huge ceiling, and he should get a chance to make big plays against the Cowboys pressure-packed man defense.
Stevietpfl: Sam Howell + Curtis Samuel + Cooper Kupp – Howell has averaged 39.2 passing attempts per game this season, which is the most in the NFL. He has 61 (4.7 per game) deep ball attempts, which is the second highest in the NFL this season. The biggest problem has been his offensive line, but the Rams rank 23rd at pressuring the quarterback this season. I’ll have exposure to McLaurin, Samuel, and Dotson with Howell, but I think Samuel has the highest ceiling. The Rams draw a fantastic matchup: Washington ranks 32nd in DVOA and 32nd in DVOA against the pass this season. Williams is a great play, but I think the passing game is a great pivot off the chalk RB. Kupp has 18 targets over his last two games, and I’m hoping he’s finally back to 100% healthy.
eys819: Jordan Love + Jayden Reed + Tucker Kraft – The Packers top two running backs are questionable and Christian Watson is listed as doubtful. Love was mediocre in a loss to the Giants last week, but this is a great bounceback spot for him. The Bucs are one of the biggest pass funnels in the league, as they have allowed the second-most passing yards per game this season. Reed is averaging 7.5 targets per game without Watson this year. Kraft has played over 95% of snaps and has run a route on nearly 73% of dropbacks in the last three games without Luke Musgrave. Both pass catchers have attractive price tags but will be fairly popular. The savings will allow me to spend up to differentiate my lineups in other spots.
Bobby Gomes: Matthew Stafford + Cooper Kupp and/or Kyren Williams – The WAS/LAR game has the highest total on the main slate (50.5). Williams has had 22+ touches in 3 straight games, and last week, we got to see vintage Kupp again. Williams is looking like good chalk, but Kupp is sitting around just 7% pOWN%. Stafford should feast at home as a favorite against the worst defense in the NFL.
