Hittin' The Nuts - Squirrelpatrol's Lineup Advice: Week 15 Saturday Slate
Want to hit the nuts and take down 1st place in these massive contests posted by FanDuel and DraftKings? Who better to walk you through their favorite NFL DFS picks than Squirrelpatrol! Undoubtedly one of the best DFS players in the game today, Squirrelpatrol has accumulated 90+ Live Final seats, took 2nd place in the 2023 DraftKings Fantasy Baseball World Championship for a $600,000 prize, and most recently, took down the NFL Milly Maker in Week 2.
Week 15 gives us a Saturday triple-header less than a week after a Monday Night Football doubleheader. The Vikings travel to Cincinnati in the first game kicking off at 1:00 PM ET, followed by the Steelers at the Colts at 4:30 PM ET, and then the Broncos in Detroit to take on the Lions in the night game at 8:15 PM ET. In contrast to the Monday night slate where both games kicked off at the same time, this one follows a Thanksgiving-style format with the games happening sequentially. There are some large prize pools for the 3-game DFS classic slates, so let’s sort through the games and figure out what to do with our DFS lineups.

Who Are These Quarterbacks?
The NFL might have planned things out thinking they would take advantage of the lack of college football by giving us some premier NFL matchups, with Joe Burrow facing Kirk Cousins, promising rookie Anthony Richardson facing the Steelers and Kenny Pickett, and Jarrett Stidham having finally taken over for the Broncos. Instead, we’ve got Jake Browning against Nick Mullens, Gardner Minshew facing Mitch Trubisky, and Russell Wilson against Jared Goff. It’s a bit of a jumbled mess at the QB position, with nobody separating themselves from the pack in terms of projection and projected ownership, but that opens up some possibilities for our lineups.
The first decision point I make on a smaller slate is how I should spread out my QB exposure among both single-entry and larger-field contests.
