Best NFL Week 12 Player Props at Online Sportsbooks
Surprise, surprise! We went 2 for 3 in Week 11. We added a few shekels but missed on another running back prop. Running backs are the metaphorical hurdle in the way of my breaking out the props broom on NFL Sunday. Will I get a running back prop right this Sunday? We’ll take a look at that and more as I break down what I think are the best NFL player props for Week 12.

NFL Week 12 Player Props — QB Pick
Kyler Murray Over/Under 51.5 Rushing Yards
Finally, an exciting quarterback pick. The exhilarating Kyler Murray finally finds himself on the main slate with a prop I want to attack — his rushing yards. Murray leads the NFL in 2020 with 6.7 yards per rushing attempt. He has exceeded this number 7 of 11 games thus far in 2020.
A similar comp to Murray, Lamar Jackson, rushed for 55 yards against the Patriots in a sloppy primetime game muddied up — literally — by poor weather conditions. Jackson and Murray are similarly electric on the ground but Kyler and the Cardinals’ offense are clearly more equipped to move the ball through the air. The Patriots will not be able to pack the box and focus all of their attention on Kyler’s legs. One or two bigger gainers could be in store for the young quarterback.
I was all over Murray’s rushing props last season and feel pretty strongly that this is the type of number I will bet each week. Give me the over at -110 on FanDuel.
My Pick: Over 51.5 Rushing Yards -110 at FanDuel
NFL Week 12 Player Props — RB Pick
Josh Jacobs Over/Under 75.5 Rushing Yards
The Las Vegas Raiders head to Atlanta to play the Falcons on Sunday afternoon. The Las Vegas Raiders look to keep playoff hopes alive with a road victory while the Falcons, well… The season could not end soon enough for the Falcons. Atlanta is possibly one of the more talented teams ever to possess such a losing record and will be benefited three points at home due to their inefficacy.
The Raiders want to run the ball. Everyone knows that if Jon Gruden had his way, Las Vegas would run the ball 40 times and win by a field goal. The issue is the Falcons’ defense would suggest opponents should be throwing as much as possible to put the Birds away. Surely, someone will get in Gruden’s ear. If not, Josh Jacobs will see his near 20 attempts per game. Those near 20 attempts per game net Jacobs a current average of 75.5 rushing yards per game.
Those wily online sportsbooks are putting together a line fated to be bet on both sides, right? Well, maybe so or maybe they just want to use Jacobs’ average for the prop market and move on with their day. Other sites, FanDuel and PointsBet both feature fewer rushing yards for this prop. Given Jacobs’ pretty inefficient 3.8 yards per attempt and opposing teams’ putrid 49.10% rush success rate against the Falcons (per RotoGrinders GridironIQ), I am pretty comfortable taking the under specifically at DraftKings.
My Pick: Under 75.5 Rushing Yards -112 at DraftKings
NFL Week 12 Player Props — WR Pick
Antonio Brown Over/Under 57.5 Receiving Yards
In possibly the spotlight game of Week 12, the Buccaneers welcome the Kansas City Chiefs to Tampa Bay for a pivotal contest for both teams. The Bucs look to stay in the running for the NFC South while the Chiefs hope to keep the quest for home-field alive. Steelers’ fans are not used to rooting for Tom Brady but will likely make an exception on Sunday.
Antonio Brown is clearly a huge priority for Tom Brady as he continues to familiarize himself with the Tampa Bay offensive scheme. What started as an auxiliary piece in his first game, Brown’s role increased to top target in Week 11 (13 targets). Brown caught eight of those targets for 57 yards.
The Sunday contest will likely be a back and forth affair between Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes. Brown should see another boost to production as he continues to trend in that direction. FanDuel Sportsbook is the only book offering a prop for Brown at the time of this writing. I will surely be scouring sites for his prop as Sunday approaches. For now, I will take over 57.5 receiving yards at FanDuel.
My Pick: Over 57.5 Receiving Yards -110 at FanDuel.
