NFL PrizePicks: Eagles vs. Seahawks Player Predictions for Monday Night Football

The Eagles vs. Seahawks face off for Monday Night Football in what should be an exciting game. The Seahawks are likely without their starting QB Geno Smith, but it’s not that big of a downgrade to Drew Lock regardless. PrizePicks has introduced a new format for their NFL DFS Pick’em game, with brand new “Demons” and “Goblins” (is it still Halloween?) plays that indicate modified payout structures, up to 100x. That means each of the plays will have options to go higher or lower than they are otherwise projected. I’ll indicate my confidence rate with each pick to help you dictate whether or not you want to capitalize on a Green Goblin (Spidey SZN!) with a lower payout and easier projection to hit, or a Demon that has a higher projection as well as an increased payout.
Each week, I’ll deliver my top NFL PrizePicks predictions for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football. Use the PrizePicks referral code GRINDERS to receive a $100 deposit match to prep you for the NFL season.
PrizePicks Plays: Ravens vs. Seahawks
- Tyler Lockett – More Than 49.5 Receiving Yards
- DK Metcalf and Dallas Goedert (Combo) – More Than 0.5 Touchdowns
- Jalen Hurts – More Than 34.5 Rush Yards
Tyler Lockett – 49.5 Receiving Yards
Lockett only has a median projection of just over 50 yards tonight, but I love this spot for him against a weak Eagles pass defense. He has had over 50 yards receiving in more than half of his games this season and this is arguably the best spot of the year. Not only is Philadelphia allowing a ton of yards through the air, but the Seahawks are also underdogs in this one, which should lead to more passing. The Seahawks are expected to be without Geno Smith tonight, but I don’t think Drew Lock is actually a downgrade for Lockett. Last week with Lock under center, Tyler Lockett finished with 6 receptions for more than 80 yards and I’m expecting more of the same against the Eagles. Lock to Lockett is such a good play; let’s Lock-Ett in, ha.
Play: Lockett – More Than 49.5 Receiving Yards
DK Metcalf + Dallas Goedert (Combo) – 0.5 Touchdowns
Another player I expect to immensely benefit from the Eagles’ weak pass defense is DK Metcalf. He has come alive recently for the Seahawks with some massive performances and 5 touchdowns in his past 4 weeks. Additionally, Goedert came back last week and was immediately very involved in the offense. These are two of my favorite players to score for their respective teams tonight. However, I don’t hate the idea of splitting this DFS Pick’em play on PrizePicks in two, instead. For both DK Metcalf and Dallas Goedert, I like them to surpass their receiving yard numbers on PrizePicks nearly as much as the combo to score a touchdown.
Play: Metcalf + Goedert (Combo) – More Than 0.5 Touchdowns
Jalen Hurts – 34.5 Rushing Yards
Another player you could choose to score a touchdown instead of taking his yardage prediction on NFL PrizePicks is Jalen Hurts. However, since it’s listed at a discounted payout with the new “Goblin” structure puts it at a priority level well below Jalen Hurts rushing yards. This number is simply too low. He projects for nearly 36 yards tonight in the RotoGrinders projections, but I’m expecting Hurts to be far closer to 50 tonight. The floor is immense as he’s only been below 24 rushing yards once this season, and Hurts should be extra motivated to take down the victory since the Dallas Cowboys left the door open for the Eagles to secure the division.
