NFL PrizePicks: Ravens vs. Jaguars Player Predictions for Sunday Night Football

keaton-mitchell-800x480

It looks like it’ll be an ugly Sunday Night Football game featuring the Ravens vs. Jaguars with some of the strongest winds we have seen this season. The weather is almost certainly to be a factor, but I actually don’t think that will significantly affect a team that utilizes quick passes and the ground game like the Ravens. The Jaguars have Trevor Lawrence playing through injury and Christian Kirk still sidelined, so my expected game script is the Ravens playing from ahead, which opens up some nice possibilities for PrizePicks predictions.

Each week, I’ll deliver my top NFL PrizePicks predictions for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football. Use the PrizePicks referral code GRINDERS to receive a $100 deposit match to prep you for the NFL season.

PrizePicks Plays: Ravens vs. Jaguars

Lamar Jackson – 1.5 Passing + Rushing + Receiving TDs

I’m on the Ravens’ side to score more points tonight, and Lamar Jackson is involved in nearly everything they do. He’s projected for just shy of 2 total touchdowns in the RotoGrinders projections, and I love the combo of any type of score tonight on NFL PrizePicks. Regardless of the script that plays out, Lamar should still be a feature in the red zone in play action or to run the ball in himself. If the Jaguars happen to keep this close or get out to an early lead, Lamar should have no problem at all eclipsing this number on PrizePicks.

Play: Jackson – More Than 1.5 Passing + Rushing + Receiving TDs*

Keaton Mitchell – 45.5 Rushing Yards

While Baltimore still runs a backfield-by-committee approach, Keaton Mitchell is rapidly emerging as the top and most dangerous option. He’s had at least 8 rushing attempts in 4 of his past 5 games, surpassing 50 yards in three of them without ever being below 33. With tonight’s weather expected to make things far more difficult from a passing perspective, Mitchell should get extended volume tonight. Even if he doesn’t, he’s shown the type of explosiveness that could allow him to exceed his PrizePicks projection with a single big run. He projects for slightly over 45.5 yards in the RotoGrinders projections tonight and should be far closer to a ceiling game if the Ravens are playing with the lead.

Play: Mitchell – More Than 45.5 Rushing Yards

Zay Jones – 39.5 Receiving Yards

I don’t have a lot of confidence in the Jaguars offense tonight. However, Zay Jones should have enough volume in the short passing game to surpass this low number on PrizePicks. Zay Jones has missed a large portion of the year due to injury but has stepped up massively without Christian Kirk. Jones has 22 targets in his past 2 games, including a 14-target game last week. He runs most of his routes relatively close to the line of scrimmage and is a feature in the screen game as well. He projects for nearly 46 yards tonight in the RotoGrinders projections and should get ample opportunity to produce if the Jaguars are forced to come from behind.
