In this space, we’ll look at exciting offers on the PrizePicks board for Week 10 of the NFL season and try to make some predictions based on projections, trends, and the market.

PrizePicks, a DFS Pick’em site, lays out player projections for us to stack on a ticket for user-created entries. They prompt us with a statistical projection for a player, and we get to pick whether or not the player will get More or Less than the line offered. There are hundreds of players from whom to choose, and we only have to make at least two picks to create a contest. If you haven’t tried it yet, use the PrizePicks referral codeGRINDERS” to get a deposit match up to $100.

For NFL Week 10, we’ll look at the board and see what usage, gameflow, Vegas, and — of course — our projections can tell us about how players are likely to produce. We’ll look at passing, rushing, and receiving categories most weeks.

PrizePicks Top Plays for NFL Week 10

San Francisco 49ers at Jacksonville Jaguars

Christian McCaffrey MORE/LESS than 66.5 rushing yards

We can feature two 49ers because this should be well-paced game where the 49ers are favored and implied to score 24.25 points.

On a three-game losing streak, we should expect this run-happy coaching staff to not play around getting certain guys their reps. We should expect a concentration of the offense toward tried-and-true. And that should mean somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 rushes for McCaffrey — the sort of volume he was getting when they started 5-0.

Smart coaching staff on a losing streak with a superstar all-purpose back. McCaffrey’s gonna get his. The Jaguars are good, so if Vegas has the 49ers not face-planting again, we should believe it’ll be through #23.

We have McCaffrey projected for 73.96 rushing yards, but we can play this for the ceiling in what the 49ers might treat as a “must-win.”

PLAY: McCaffrey MORE than 66.5 rushing yards

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys

Saquon Barkley MORE/LESS Than 63.5 Rushing Yards

The Giants are 17.5-point underdogs in Dallas, so why the hell am I recommending this pick against a strong defense as a huge road underdog? Because without Daniel Jones (or even Tyrod Taylor), the Giants have no strategy through the air. And if they try to develop one, it’s gonna fail. So either way, the Giants are gonna hand it off to Barkley a ton.

Barkley won’t get the Week 8 volume of 36 carries because that game with Tommy DeVito under center was competitive. But let’s not forget that the Giants have no receivers, so the offense is gonna still contain a lot of runs by Barkley.

We have him projected at 71.35 rush yards, which is good enough above his PrizePicks projection.

PLAY: Barkley MORE than 63.5 rushing yards

San Francisco 49ers at Jacksonville Jaguars

Brandon Aiyuk MORE/LESS Than 65.5 Passing Yards

Going back to the theory that the 49ers aren’t gonna mess around with spreading the ball around, Aiyuk is the best conventional WR they have. When they’re throwing, Aiyuk should get a lot of first looks to concentrate the offense. Will he get 12 looks? Probably not, but 8 is very much in the cards. With a 14.8 aDOT, that’s all we need to crack this soft projection.

We have Aiyuk currently projected for a whopping 81.62 receiving yards.
