NFL Week 3 Player Props: Bets for Tannehill, Barkley and Woods
Derrick Henry and Kyler Murray were the highlights of Week 2 in the NFL. We have a full slate of games to enjoy with a potential playoff matchup in the Buccaneers at the Rams. We ride with back-to-back sweeps. Can I clutch the broom for one more sweep? Will my good fortune run out?
Well, as mentioned above, I was able to pull off another sweep in Week 2. Trevor Lawrence played the role of rookie quarterback extremely well, barely scraping together 100+ yards in a game where the Jaguars were forced to throw. Derrick Henry put together a second-half for the ages against the Seahawks — rewarding over bettors and fantasy owners. Lastly, Kyle Pitts converted a better percentage of his extensive opportunity for an early and easy over against the Buccaneers. I cannot imagine this amount of good fortune is going to continue. Regardless, a +6.00 start is very welcome. Steady maintenance from here could make for a great season.

NFL Week 3 Player Props
Ryan Tannehill Over/Under 250.5 Passing Yards
One week after celebrating a big Derrick Henry rushing performance, I turn my attention to the Titans’ passing game. Lost in Henry’s incredible performance was a 347-yard passing day from Ryan Tannehill. Tannehill and the Titans welcome the 0-2 Colts to Tennessee on Sunday.
While there is no disputing the identity of the Titans, the passing total on FanDuel is way too low for my liking. The Titans are an extremely efficient offense facing a defense that surrendered 9.6 yards per pass attempt in the first two weeks of the football season. Ryan Tannehill could eclipse this number even if Derrick Henry is the focus of the offense. Maybe I will get lucky and the Big Dog will catch 5+ passes again? One could only hope. Let’s start with 1.14 units on this over.
PROP BET: 1.14u on Tannehill Over 250.5 Yards (-114) at FanDuel
Saquon Barkley Over/Under 62.5 Rushing Yards
In what could be dubbed “The Loser Tanks Bowl,” the Giants welcome the Atlanta Falcons. Fresh off of two opening losses, the Giants look to turn things around again a similarly inept Falcons squad.
Saquon Barkley improved upon his Week 1 performance with a 57-yard rushing day against the Football Team in Week 2 — on only 13 carries. The Falcons ceded 127+ rushing yards per game over the first two weeks. Atlanta seems like a great matchup to increase Barkley’s workload and take a bit of pressure off of Daniel Jones and the passing game.
With the Giants installed as -3 favorites at the time of this writing, I can’t imagine the script gets away from either team. A sneaky shootout spot, the Giants and Falcons make for interesting DFS propositions. With closer to 20 carries, Barkley should be efficient enough against a weaker defense to breach this rushing prop. Grab this one at DraftKings ASAP before their line moves closer to consensus. 1.1 units it is on the over.
PROP BET: 1.15u on Barkley Over 62.5 Rushing Yards (-110) at DraftKings
Robert Woods Over/Under 63.5 Receiving Yards
For the trifecta, I will grab my third over with Robert Woods playing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers travel to Los Angeles for what is likely the game of the weekend. The Bucs are barely favored (-1.5) in a 55-point implied game total, at the time of this writing. Points will be scored.
Both defenses are relatively stout. That said, on the Tampa side, the Bucs specialize in stuffing the run. Due to the concerted effort to limit running backs, the Buccaneers tend to give up a bit in the air to opposing offenses. Matt Stafford looks great in a competent offense for a potentially deep playoff contender. This game might be a preview of the NFC Championship.
While Cooper Kupp scored fantasy points on top of fantasy points on top of fantasy points, Robert Woods kept busy with 9 targets. Woods converted 5 of the targets for 64 yards. Woods could receive a similar offering of work — especially if the Buccaneers get out to a lead. I love this over. Let’s close with 1.15 units at PointsBet.
PROP BET: 1.15u Woods Over 63.5 Receiving Yards (-115) at PointsBet
