Who is your favorite skater to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – Despite them projecting well, I will probably be underweight on the Senators because they have been getting a lot of ownership lately while only projecting OK. I will also likely be underweight on the red-hot Oilers in an away game vs. Connor Hellebuyck. I will likely pivot more towards the Avalanche, who have had reasonable ownership recently. The top two lines for the Ducks have a great matchup, and I like the Flames, who don’t ever seem to get a lot of ownership but have a solid total for their price at home vs. the Bruins.

Joda: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format tonight. With 11 games on the slate, I find myself gravitating to Colorado’s best players, Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar. The attractive price on Gabriel Landeskog, who has seen an elevated role, helps make the total cost more palatable. The CBJ/OTT game looks interesting as a source of secondary options, as both teams are bottom 3 in PK%. BOS/CGY also has some solid sources of salary relief. SJS/ANA should also produce goals, so I like looking to these teams to help get overweight on Colorado in GPPs.
