What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – I’ll be keeping my eyes on whether or not Travis Konecny plays for the Flyers. In his absence last game, Matvei Michkov only had 2 shots, but he did lead all Flyers forwards in 5v5 minutes, and he was on the top power-play unit. He would make for a strong value play by himself or with linemate Christian Dvorak. Also, while Tampa is never a good matchup, being at home helps, as does facing backup Jonas Johansson. Also, with Nathan MacKinnon and Connor McDavid getting all their deserved laurels, maybe Kirill Kaprizov gets overlooked. His on-ice metrics have been much better since the Quinn Hughes trade, and a tired Devils team that played last night is an underrated matchup.

Joda: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format tonight. Nathan MacKinnon and Connor McDavid are the cream of the crop, but getting both while also grabbing a stack partner or two of theirs is tricky, which has me leaning more into a stars-and-scrubs build or utilizing a cheap full-line stack to complement them. It is hard to see the slow-skating Blackhawks and Maple Leafs slowing down these superstars, so I will go overweight on them and get different elsewhere.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
