What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – The Senators are likely the most obvious play on the slate, but I really like both sides of their game with the Sharks. In lineups where I find it difficult to play the Senators, I think playing the Sharks’ goalie is a good play. The Senators have historically gotten a lot of low-percentage shots on net, so the save total should be good, and you can stack the goalie with good plays like Jake Walman, Macklin Celebrini, and/or Tyler Toffoli.

TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. The Senators are the low-hanging fruit on this slate. I think that is going to be chalk I am willing to eat since I have no faith in the Sharks’ defense and goaltending. I will try to get different with my goaltending and one-offs to differentiate my team.

Hunter4ever89: I prefer the large-field MME tournaments today. I can’t believe that the Anaheim top line is the same price as Edmonton’s top line. I prefer the more talented EDM in general, but I want to take a closer look at ownership later in the day. If name recognition and talent drives up ownership for Connor McDavid and company, I like the idea of getting over the field on the Anaheim top line at the same price tag.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
