Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – The Boston top line is probably the best play, but given how expensive Elias Lindholm and Morgan Geekie are, I think you can go elsewhere and get much lower ownership and spend more salary on secondary pieces. With Nathan MacKinnon out and Drew Doughty and Joel Edmundson potentially out, we have some important question marks in the late games. Jordan Spence had a gigantic role with Doughty and Edmundson out last game, and at home vs. the Ducks would be a great matchup for him. Also, we basically never get Avalanche lines early, and they are very hard to predict tonight, but they are still very large favorites, and there will be forward value there, likely with Brock Nelson or Charlie Coyle acting as the top-line center.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – With the playoff picture mostly set at this stage in the season, many of the players are playing for pride. This can lead to some wild games that feature plenty of scoring like we saw last night. Two such games I can see some fireworks in are CHI/BOS and BUF/CBJ, which make for great targets in tournaments.

Joda: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format. With the recent explosion of Boston’s top line and the always fantasy-friendly matchup with the Blackhawks, I expect David Pastrnak to grab a lot of attention. His linemates are priced up, so they might be left behind. I would include at least Morgan Geekie, who has 8 goals over his last 11 games. One under-the-radar team I like is Florida. They get to take on Detroit, who was eliminated from playoff contention on Tuesday. I also expect their goalie to be the popular cheap option, so there could be some leverage.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
