NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Thursday, November 7
Who is your favorite skater to spend up for in cash games?
TastefulTides: Jack Hughes
boggslite: Jack Hughes
Joda: Jack Hughes
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs – It will be very hard to get away from Devils’ chalk. They are priced too low for the excellent matchup they are in. Just like with any other sport, it’s okay to play chalk; just be aware of what you build around it.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – There are plenty of great matchups to target if you want to separate yourself from the masses that will likely be playing the Devils. I won’t completely fade New Jersey in this matchup but will also look to some other teams like Ottawa, Minnesota, and Dallas, who have the ability to break the slate if the Devils don’t come through.
Joda: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format this evening. Similar to Tuesday, when we were able to start a roster with a well-projected 1-2 punch of Nathan MacKinnon and Artturi Lehkonen for $13,300, tonight we can do the same with Jack Hughes and Jesper Bratt for $13,500. On a 12-game slate, I will be overweight the field on this dynamic duo compared to the field when building rosters.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
