What kind of performances can we expect on Thursday Night Football from D’Onta Foreman, Tyson Bagent, and Miles Sanders? Follow along as our NFL betting expert, Nick Galaida, breaks down three of his favorite NFL prop bets and DFS pick’em predictions for today – Thursday, November 9, 2023. Week 10 of the NFL regular season will begin with a primetime showdown between the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears. Both of these teams are much closer to the worst record in the NFL than they are a playoff berth, which could make the player prop market more fun to invest in this evening than a side or a total.

Ahead of kickoff, the Bears are favored by 3.5 points on the spread. The game total is set at over/under 38 points. If choosing to wager instead on the player prop market, we have three prop leans for tonight’s matchup!

Panthers vs. Bears Player Props for TNF

D’Onta Foreman o60.5 Rushing Yards (-110), PointsBet

Last week, D’Onta Foreman totaled 83 rushing yards on 20 attempts for the Bears. No other member of the Chicago backfield had more than two carries or played more than two snaps on rushing plays. Roschon Johnson played 20 snaps overall, but 18 of those came on passing snaps, either running a route or being used as a pass blocker. Carolina’s run defense ranks 20th in EPA/play and 18th in success rate since their bye week. Overall, the Panthers run defense ranks 32nd in EPA/play and 32nd in success rate in 2023. Foreman should have plenty of room to run on Thursday in a favorable matchup.

Tyson Bagent u187.5 Passing Yards (-115), DraftKings

Tyson Bagent has eclipsed this market number in each of his last two games played, but it’s worth noting the circumstances in both of those games. The Chargers have allowed the third-most yards per pass attempt of any defense in the NFL this season and Bagent was in a negative game script, which forced him to throw the ball 37 times. Last weekend, Bagent once again was forced to throw the ball 30 times, trailing against the Saints. Bagent had 54 passing yards on the first two plays of the game, but had only 166 passing yards the rest of the way. On Thursday, Bagent should find himself in a more competitive game script, which could reduce his attempts through the air. The return of Vonn Bell and Xavier Woods for Carolina’s defense should also limit the potential for any big plays through the air. Bagent could find it difficult to approach 200 passing yards in this spot.

NFL DFS Pick’em

Miles Sanders More Than 10.5 Receiving Yards, PrizePicks

According to props.cash, 12 of 16 running backs to have a receiving yards line released against the Bears this season have eclipsed that default number. In recent weeks, the Bears have allowed 44 receiving yards to Alvin Kamara, 94 receiving yards to Austin Ekeler, 28 receiving yards to Alexander Mattison, 33 receiving yards to Brian Robinson Jr., 64 receiving yards to Antonio Gibson, and 23 receiving yards to Samaje Perine. Sanders has received at least three targets and caught at least three passes in five of six games this year in which he has played at least 18 snaps. He should be involved as a pass catcher this evening for this Carolina offense.
