Patriots vs. Steelers NFL Player Props for TNF

Hunter Henry o20.5 Receiving Yards (-125), PointsBet

Heading into Week 14, the Steelers have linebackers Kwon Alexander and Cole Holcomb on injured reserve, with linebacker Elandon Roberts listed as questionable with a groin injury. Alexander has been the team’s best coverage linebacker in 2023, and he has been one of the better coverage linebackers in the entire NFL per PFF. In his absence, Pittsburgh has allowed David Njoku to have seven receptions for 56 receiving yards and Trey McBride to have eight receptions for 89 receiving yards. Hunter Henry has at least 20 receiving yards in four of his last five games, with his lone miss coming in extremely adverse weather conditions last weekend against the Chargers. Henry should be able to bounce back with a strong performance in this spot.

Ezekiel Elliott o2.5 Receptions (-140), FanDuel

Last weekend against the Chargers, Ezekiel Elliott became the Patriots’ top running back after Rhamondre Stevenson left early due to injury. Elliott finished the game with four receptions on five targets for 40 receiving yards. It was his fourth consecutive game with at least two receptions. Tonight, Elliott is likely to be heavily involved in the passing attack once again with the inexperienced Bailey Zappe making a road start on a short week in a hostile environment. In a positive game script, Elliott should see at least a few targets taking the place of Stevenson, who leads the Patriots in receptions this fall. In a negative game script, Elliott could threaten for five catches or more. The juice is likely to be worth the squeeze in this spot.

Mitch Trubisky o180.5 Passing Yards (-110), FanDuel

Mitch Trubisky is far from an elite signal caller, but this market is still far too low given the matchup he has on Thursday. Since linebacker Matt Judon and defensive back Christian Gonzalez last played in Week 4, the Patriots defense ranks 28th in dropback EPA/play. Tommy Devito and Gardner Minshew each threw for at least 191 yards against New England’s defense. Sam Howell and Tua Tagovailoa each torched this secondary unit for 324 passing yards or more. Trubisky should be able to clear this market number tonight.
