Tonight, all eyes will be on the East. The Sixers will host the Heat, with the #7 seed on the line. In the nightcap, the Bulls will take on the Hawks in the 9/10 battle.

NBA PrizePicks Predictions Today

Tyler Herro More/Less Than 20.5 Points

The Heat have been banged up seemingly all season long, and they’re not at full strength entering the Play-In Tournament either. Terry Rozier and Josh Richardson will both miss tonight’s game in Philly, which will open up some more usage for Herro, Jimmy Butler, and Bam Adebayo, primarily.

We can expect a very tight rotation from Erik Spoelstra tonight, which likely means minutes in the mid-30s for Herro. The issue is this is a very difficult matchup, and Miami’s 101.25 implied team total is the lowest on the slate. Philadelphia was one of the stingiest defenses in basketball this season with Joel Embiid in the lineup.

Bruno Fernando More/Less Than 0.5 Blocked Shots

Fernando has been thrust into a bigger role for Atlanta down the stretch thanks to the injury to Onyeka Okongwu. Unfortunately for the Hawks, they’ll also be without Jalen Johnson and Saddiq Bey when they face the Bulls in Chicago tonight.

Since Okongwu went down nearly a month ago, Fernando has averaged north of 20 minutes per game serving as the primary backup center to Clint Capela. Capela rarely plays significant minutes even as the starter, so Fernando has a real role here.

The Bulls have yielded about 5 blocked shots per game this season, and Fernando averaged about 0.6 blocks per game despite playing just over 15 minutes per game on the season. This could be a sweat, but I like Fernando to record at least one rejection tonight.
