PrizePicks Super Bowl Predictions: Running Backs

The NFL Season is finally coming to a close, with many people’s Super Bowl predictions coming true as the 49ers and the Chiefs face off in the big game. There are a variety of strong PrizePicks running back predictions we can make despite there only being one game to choose from, with multiple players rating out as NFL PrizePicks top plays.

Below are my top running back picks in the 49ers vs. Chiefs Super Bowl:

Christian McCaffrey – 34.5 Receiving Yards

When selecting NFL PrizePicks RBs for a single-game slate that involves the 49ers, Christian McCaffrey will obviously be part of the card. My favorite of his predictions this week is going with his receiving yards, as 34.5 just isn’t enough. He projects for more than 41 receiving yards in the RotoGrinders projections and has a win rate of 64.38% in the NFL Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks. While this is my top play of the bunch, selecting McCaffrey to exceed his fantasy point or rushing yard number on PrizePicks is totally acceptable as well.

Isiah Pacheco – 67.5 Rushing Yards

This one scares me the most out of all the NFL PrizePicks top plays, but I’m still willing to take Pacheco for less than 67.5 rushing yards. He projects for just shy of 66 rushing yards in the RotoGrinders projections, which isn’t a huge difference, but I’m also expecting the 49ers to play with a lead for most of the game before some Mahomes magic happens. Pacheco has a 68.79% win rate in the NFL Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks, the highest on the slate.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire – 3 Fantasy Points

There’s a good chance Jerick McKinnon will be back in the mix this week for the Chiefs, and if he’s actually healthy, it should significantly diminish the role of Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He currently projects for 2.95 fantasy points in the RotoGrinders projections, but that could drop a great deal with McKinnon in. He has only exceeded 3 fantasy points in 1 of his past 4 games and seems like a safe-ish choice to be less than that again versus the 49ers.
