Best Los Angeles Rams Player Props for Super Bowl 56
NFL betting expert Nick Galaida previews Los Angeles Rams player prop bets ahead for Super Bowl 56. Get his best bets for Matthew Stafford, Cam Akers, Odell Beckham, and Van Jefferson against the Bengals at SoFi Stadium this Sunday.
It might not be the matchup that bettors anticipated when the NFL postseason began, but there is plenty to be excited about for this weekend’s Super Bowl matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams. When these two teams battle on Sunday, bettors will not only have the option to bet on the winner, spread, and game total–they will also have the opportunity to wager on exciting individual talent, such as Cooper Kupp, Matthew Stafford, Cam Akers, and more.
At this point, it may even be more advantageous to bet on player props, rather than the spread and total. Due to the heavy interest in betting on the spread and total, the closer that we get to kickoff, the more the value on the spread and the total has been reduced compared to its opening market price. Instead of betting into saturated markets that have already been stripped of their primary value, football bettors may find more expected value (and have more fun) wagering on player props. Let’s take a look at our favorite prop bets for Los Angeles players for this Sunday.

Best Rams Prop Bets
Matthew Stafford u285.5 passing yards (-125)
PrizePicks: O/U 270.5 Yards
Across their last eight games, the Bengals have allowed only two opposing quarterbacks to throw for 300 yards. This stretch of action has included matchups against Patrick Mahomes (twice), Jimmy Garoppolo, Derek Carr, Ryan Tannehill, and others. In three postseason games, Cincinnati has permitted 310 passing yards to Derek Carr, 220 passing yards to Ryan Tannehill, and 275 passing yards to Patrick Mahomes. In what is likely to be a positive game script for the Rams, it would be surprising to see them throw the ball too frequently. On top of that, Since Week 9 (excluding Week 18), the Bengals are allowing only 6.8 yards-per-attempt through the air, while holding opposing signal callers to a 19-to-11 touchdown-to-interception ratio. The under makes sense here.
Cam Akers o64.5 rushing yards (-115)
PrizePicks: O/U 57.5 Yards
In three postseason games, the Bengals have allowed over 100 rushing yards to each of their opponents. Josh Jacobs totaled 83 rushing yards on only 13 attempts in the Wild Card round. Derrick Henry and D’Onta Foreman combined for 128 rushing yards on 24 attempts in the Divisional round. Jerrick McKinnon and Clyde Edwards-Helaire totaled 101 rushing yards on 18 carries. Cam Akers has not been elite since returning to the field in Week 18, but he has seen plenty of volume each week. In a great matchup, this feels like the week that Akers could finally put together a big performance.
Odell Beckham u63.5 receiving yards (-115)
PrizePicks: O/U 60.5 Yards
It is extremely likely that Odell Beckham will see the majority of his offensive snaps in the Super Bowl lined up against Chidobe Awuzie, who has emerged as one of the best coverage cornerbacks in the NFL this season. Per Pro Football Focus, Awuzie graded as the 18th best cornerback in football out of 118 players with a qualifying number of snaps. Beckham had a big game last week against a relatively weak San Francisco 49ers secondary unit. Beckham is likely to find life much more difficult against the Bengals. In Beckham’s last seven contests, he has only eclipsed this number twice. Take the under here.
Van Jefferson o2.5 receptions (+140)
PrizePicks: O/U 2.0 Receptions
In case bettors have not been paying attention, it has been extremely fun to bet against Eli Apple this season. In the Super Bowl, Apple is likely to see quite a few snaps lined up across from Van Jefferson. Jefferson has become largely an afterthought in the offense in recent weeks, seeing only 12 targets across his last four games played. Still, it would be surprising if Matthew Stafford did not look his way at least a few times in what is arguably the most favorable matchup of any wide receiver on the field in the Super Bowl. At significant plus-money, this could be worth a roll of the dice.
