Seahawks vs. Steelers Same Game Parlay Picks & Player Props
It’s Sunday night, so it’s time to assemble another Sunday Night Football Same Game Parlay on PointsBet. Tonight we have the Seattle Seahawks at the Pittsburgh Steelers, with Geno Smith taking the place of injured Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (finger), and Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger struggling to consistently compete at a high level. This one should be very difficult for traditional spread bettors, so it’s a perfect time to put together a low-risk, high-reward in-game parlay.
A Same Game Parlay basically just means a parlay consisting of multiple correlated wagers from one specific game. It provides bettors with good options to bet a game—and piece together Seahawks vs. Steelers props into a parlay within that game—beyond just the standard spread, moneyline, and over/under totals.
Here’s an example of my Same Game Parlay recommendation for Sunday Night Football a few weekends ago (between Green Bay and San Francisco).
- Green Bay Packers Total: OVER 21.5 (-140)
- ANYTIME TOUCHDOWN SCORER: Aaron Jones (-110)
- ANYTIME SCORER: Davante Adams (+100)
- George Kittle to Get 75+ Receiving Yards (-230)
- Total Odds: +834 | Bet: $100 | Total Payout: $934
If you played this custom-made parlay, you would have woken up $834 richer the next morning. Same Game Parlay is a quick, easy, and extremely fun way of betting one specific game—and building a big potential payout—without being confined to the typical lines and spreads.
Let’s dive into our favorite Same Game Parlay bets for this exciting Sunday Night Football showdown, and let’s make some more money!
Steelers vs. Seahawks Same Game Parlay
- Total – OVER 42.5 (-110)
- Seattle Seahawks Total – Over 19.5 (-105)
- Tri Bet 10.5 – Either Team Under 10.5 (-170)
- Anytime Touchdown Scorer – D.K. Metcalf (+150)
- Receiver To Get – Najee Harris To Get 25+ Receiving Yards (-110)
Total Odds: +679 | Bet: $100 | Total Payout: $779
Total – OVER 42.5 (-110)
Sportsbooks have little to no confidence that Seattle will be able to produce much offensively, probably because Geno Smith will be trying to fill the shoes of seven-time Pro Bowler Russell Wilson. But I’m guessing that Smith will hold his own, considering he played halfway-decent in relief against the Rams last week (10-of-17 for 131 yards and 1 TD, 23 rushing yards). Pittsburgh’s D isn’t what it used to be— Steelers opponents have scored at least 24 points in three of five games this season, and amassed an average of 361 total yards of offense per game. As for the Seattle, it’s the same crap defense in another calendar year—the Seahawks rank dead-last in the NFL with 450.8 yards allowed per game, and they have surrendered 26 or more points in four out of five games. It might be an ugly game, but I doubt it will be a low-scoring one. Even with Big Ben a shell of his former self, and Seattle missing Chef Russ and starting running back Chris Carson (neck), this game still features plenty of offensive firepower. Steelers rookie Najee Harris has been one of the most active (and effective) running backs in the NFL, and both sides enjoy elite receiving corps. Book the OVER for the first green of the parlay.
Seattle Seahawks Total – Over 19.5 (-105)
Since I’m betting the OVER, and I don’t think it will be a runaway, I’m also going with Seattle’s OVER of 19.5 points. Pittsburgh’s secondary has more holes than Swiss cheese this season, and it just allowed Denver’s Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick to rack up 14 combined catches for 209 yards and a touchdown. One week earlier, Green Bay’s Davante Adams and Randall Cobb combined for 11-133-2. Ja’Marr Chase and Tyler Boyd totaled three touchdowns in Week 3, and in Week 2, Las Vegas put up 373 air yards and two TDs (while four different wideouts had five catches). Extremely long story short, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett should be able to inflict some damage this week. And if the Steelers—with a wide receiver trio of Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool, and “(player-popup #juju-smith-schuster)JuJu Smith-Schuster”:/players/juju-smith-schuster-36849—can’t get it going against Seattle’s bottom-of-the-barrel defense, Big Ben might be even closer to the end of the road than we thought.
Tri Bet 10.5 – Either Team Under 10.5 (-170)
This is one of my favorite props to turn into a leg in Same Game Parlays on PointsBet. Tri Bets basically feature one of three numbers—3.5, 7.5, or 10.5—in three different options (home team wins by that number, away team wins by that number, or neither team wins by that number). In this case, we are betting that neither team will win by 10.5. Simply put, primetime games rarely end up being blowouts, and Pittsburgh with Big Ben might be neck-and-neck with Seattle without Russell Wilson. Steelers games have been decided by an average of 9.6 points this season, while Seahawks games have been decided by 8.8 points per game. This feels like a gimme, yet it’s yielding decent value at -170.
Anytime Touchdown Scorer – D.K. Metcalf (+150)
Anytime I can get +150 on a D.K. Metcalf touchdown prop—in a game with a backup QB and a banged-up running game—I’m jumping on it. With his ridiculously large frame and overpowering yards-after-catch ability, Metcalf should easily become “(player-popup #geno-smith)Geno Smith”:/players/geno-smith-16557’s target leader. The second-year beast of a man caught five passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns against the Rams last week, and he should be able to get into the end zone at least once more against a vulnerable Steelers secondary this week. Good luck, Pittsburgh.
Receiver To Get – Najee Harris To Get 25+ Receiving Yards (-110)
The older Ben Roethlisberger gets, the more we see him dink-and-dunking to running backs. Amazingly, he has targeted rookie running back Najee Harris 31 times over Pittsburgh’s last three games. And since Week 2, he has 27 catches for 194 yards. That’s good for a receiving average of 48.5 yards per game, and I expect tonight to be a close battle. Harris is one hell of a safety valve, almost as strong as Metcalf will be for Smith. This is the fifth of five very doable legs in our Same Game Parlay—go out there and get ‘em!
