STLCards' Covering The Bases - Thursday, September 2nd
Happy Thursday, Grinders! Cheese is out for the rest of the week, so you’ll have me filling in for the next couple of days as we hit the stretch run in the month of September.
We have a relatively light schedule of games today. The FanDuel early slate only has two games, while the DraftKings early slate has those two plus rescheduled PHI/WAS game from yesterday. Given that small slate, I am going to focus the write up on the main slate only.
If you are playing the early slate, Aaron Nola is my favorite pitcher on DK, while Frankie Montas is my preferred option on FD. I like the Oakland bats as the obvious plays given their matchup against Matt Manning and high team total, while the Giants are my favorite sneaky offense.
