Super Bowl 59 – NFL Player Props

Jalen Hurts OVER 0.5 Touchdowns (-115, BetMGM)

The Brotherly Shove is likely to be on full display once again in Super Bowl 59 if and when the Eagles find themselves in 3rd & 1 or 4th & 1. In the NFC Championship Game, Philadelphia had to move some pieces around on the offensive line due to injury, but the team remained committed to the Tush Push, resulting in Hurts scoring 3 touchdowns. Hurts is now more than a month removed from his concussion, leaving no reason that the Eagles would abandon this play in the biggest game of the year. Hurts has scored a rushing touchdown in 5 of his last 7 postseason contests. This is a wager that has a strong chance to cash this evening.

A.J. Brown OVER 0.5 Touchdowns (+185, FanDuel)

Brown was very quiet in Philadelphia’s first two playoff games this January, with only 10 receiving yards against the Packers and 14 receiving yards against the Rams. That being said, both of those games were played in frigid weather conditions, and the Eagles mostly dominated those contests from start to finish, reducing the need for them to take risks through the air. Brown bounced back in a big way in the NFC Championship Game, with 96 receiving yards and a touchdown. The weather was better for passing, and he also saw more man coverage, which has been a coverage he has dominated this season. Kansas City is likely to challenge him 1-on-1 a fair amount in Super Bowl 59. If the Chiefs are forced to sell out for Saquon Barkley or Jalen Hurts in a short-yardage situation, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Brown get a look. Brown is also capable of scoring on a deep ball, giving him a chance to score in a variety of ways.

DeAndre Hopkins OVER 0.5 Touchdowns (+600, Caesars)

Hopkins has seen a reduced role in the Kansas City passing attack so far in the postseason, but he might not need to be a high-usage player to find the end zone in Super Bowl 59. Notably, the Chiefs have thrown the ball on 26 of the 28 snaps that Hopkins has been on the field during these playoffs, meaning that when he’s in the game, there is at least a chance that the ball could be going his way. Given the team’s lack of success running the football with Kareem Hunt and Isiah Pacheco, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them look for a bigger body near the goal line. Hopkins has 4 touchdowns in 12 games since joining Kansas City. There is some value at +600 considering Kansas City’s lack of a true WR1 and their struggles on the ground.
