Super Bowl DFS 2024: Lineup Advice, Tips, Sites & Promos

2024 Super Bowl DFS contests can now be found on your favorite daily fantasy sports apps — whether it be DraftKings, FanDuel, PrizePicks or another site.

Super Bowl 58 is set between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, as Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce will face off against Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey.

In this article, we’re going to start preparing for the 2024 Super Bowl DFS slate, as we show you the top NFL DFS sites, promos, and tools to help you win money on the Super Bowl when things kick off on Sunday, February 11, 2024.

Super Bowl DFS: How to Play Daily Fantasy for SB 58

Let’s start with how to play Super Bowl DFS this year.

The daily fantasy industry has evolved a lot over the past decade. At one point, you were asked to make DraftKings lineups with the Super Bowl and Pro Bowl on the same slate (seriously!). I guess this is the fantasy player version of “I used to walk 8 miles to school in the the snow, uphill both ways…”

Fast forward to 2024 and Fantasy Pick’em has taken the industry by storm. To steal a line from PrizePicks, Fantasy Pick’em is DFS made simple.

No doubt, Fantasy Pick’em on other apps like PrizePicks might in fact be the most popular way to play DFS for the Super Bowl.

However, there will be massive showdown contests on DraftKings and FanDuel, like we’ve seen before. With these, you can play tournaments and/or cash games. Tournaments typically have a guaranteed prizepool with larger payouts up top, while cash games come with lower risk if you simply want to double up your money by beating roughly half of the field.

We expect DraftKings to put forth at least two of their signature Millionaire Makers — one for high-stakes players and another for lower stakes.

A year ago, DraftKings ran a $2.5M Fantasy Football Millionairemaker for the Super bowl, which had 117,647 entries costing $25 to play. They also had the $350M Guaranteed Super Bowl Millionairemaire maker that had only 750 entries but cost $4444 to play.

Top Super Bowl DFS Apps & Promos

Below are the top Super Bowl DFS promos and sites that you can sign up at any point leading up to the Super Bowl. Some of these offers may change between now and the day of the Super Bowl (February 11, 2024), but we’ll update our offers when they do.

1. Sleeper Fantasy

The Sleeper promo code GRINDERS scores a $500 deposit match for new users, and there will also likely be discounted picks that you can use in your Super Bowl entries. The Sleeper Fantasy offer is the best available DFS bonus, with only one competitor currently matching it.

2. Betr Picks

The Betr brand hopes to entice you to play their DFS product with a solid $250 bonus of their own. The Betr offer is a first bet entry on the house, up to $250. Their app and user experience doesn’t match PrizePicks and Underdog Fantasy, unfortunately, but if you’re looking for value, the Betr Picks promo code is tough to pass up.

3. OwnersBox

One of the few new DFS brands that do have a more traditional, salary cap game in their daily fantasy portfolio. Along with their Daily Salary Cap contests, users can also play Lightning Lineups, which is DFS Pick’em with a twist. In either case, you can get started with a $500 bonus by signing up with the Ownersbox promo code GRINDERS .

4. PrizePicks

You probably know about PrizePicks by now. It’s one of the fastest growing DFS apps for good reason, and they’ve added a new product in select states just in time for the Super Bowl. If you don’t know about PrizePicks, however, use the PrizePicks referral code to sign up with a $100 deposit bonus.

5. Underdog Fantasy

You can get a similar $100 offer with the Underdog Fantasy promo code GRINDERS, a site that we here at RotoGrinders love. Underdog continues to push the envelope with their Best Ball product and other versions of daily fantasy football, including weekly Battle Royale snake drafts.

Super Bowl DFS Picks: How To Make Them

Making Super Bowl DFS picks won’t be easy. Both teams, whoever they are, will be filled with playmakers. This makes it difficult to create showdown lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel. DraftKings showdown lineups are made with six players, while FanDuel’s are made with only five.

Do you have the guts to fade Patrick Mahomes? What about Christian McCaffrey. It’ll be difficult to pay for both of them.

Similarly, Super Bowl props are extremely efficient, so finding an edge on PrizePicks won’t be easy either.

This is where RotoGrinders comes in. At RotoGrinders, you can subscribe to our Props and Pick’em package, which features picks from our team of DFS pros. And if you’re making FanDuel and DraftKings Super Bowl lineups, you can subscribe to RotoGrinders Premium to get access to all our DFS tools, including NFL DFS Sims and NFL lineup optimizer for DraftKings, FanDuel, and more.
