The Future is Now - Week 10 NFL Futures Betting and Strategy

The perfect storm for Seattle in Week 9. A good win on the road against Arizona and Rams/Packers/Falcons/Commanders/Saints all lose. The odds to make the playoffs all the way up to -250 in most spots. Our first big win of the season (had it at +130 last week).

Miami leapfrogged Cincinnati in AFC Champion odds as predicted. Not sure we’ll get a decent number any time soon, but definitely not the right time to buy.

Bet This in Week 10: Green Bay Under 6.5 Wins (+155 on FanDuel)

We’ve written off Aaron Rodgers before and he responded with two MVP seasons. Maybe he’ll do that again. But he’s toast this year. And the injuries are mounting around him.

Then there’s the remaining schedule. Green Bay is 3-6, so they need to win four of their remaining eight games to hit the over. Here’s what’s left: vs. Dallas, vs. Tennessee, at Philadelphia, at Chicago, vs. LA Rams, at Miami, vs. Minnesota, vs. Detroit.

Do you see four Ws there? How many games would they even be favorites?

Finally, the Jordan Love factor. In a lost season, have to think they go to him at some point. Hard to imagine the move being an upgrade, even with Rodgers’ struggles.

This line is likely changing after Dallas demolishes them this week. Grab the under 6.5 now at plus money.

Don’t Bet This in Week 10: Any MVP Favorites (+200 to +350 on DraftKings)

Sportsbooks are looking at the MVP race right now like … you guys figure it out.

Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts and Josh Allen all started the week around +250 to win the award. Allen’s elbow injury pushed him down a bit, now as low as +350 in some spots.

Just doesn’t seem like the right time to dive in given the prices and uncertainty around Allen. Probably better off taking some swings at the longshot crowd. Tua Tagovailoa and Geno Smith are certainly fun. Lamar Jackson is lurking. Micah Parsons is +20000 if you want to get really weird.
