Fantasy Football Tight End Notes
Travis Swift might get his chance to finally show off in front of the Jets. Kelce hasn’t had huge numbers so far this year, and managers have only been saved by touchdowns in both weeks he has played. Still, this is the best tight end in the league, and Mahomes will rely on him on the road against the Jets. Haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate.
If there’s ever a week for Pat Freiermuth to get busy, it’s this one. Houston is second to last in production allowed to the tight end position so far. The Texans have allowed 80.7 yards to tight ends through three weeks. Despite the low implied total, the close spread could indicate that Freiermuth is poised for his biggest game of the season.
Tyler Higbee stands out as a great option against the Indianapolis Colts assuming he plays through his questionable status. The Colts have been the fourth worst at receiving yards allowed against opposing tight ends. Higbee hasn’t caught a touchdown pass yet, but the lack of scoring isn’t going to linger all season. With fifteen targets so far this season, it’s reasonable to think that Higbee can swing his numbers in the right direction.
Good luck in Week 4!
