NFL Week 4 – Best Bets: Player Props

Trevor Lawrence o230.5 Passing Yards (-120), PointsBet

Since the beginning of last season, Trevor Lawrence has posted a 27-to-5 touchdown-to-interception ratio from a clean pocket, but only a 6-to-10 touchdown-to-interception ratio when under duress, according to PFF. On Sunday, Lawrence is positioned to have a big day, facing an Atlanta Falcons defense that ranked 25th out of 32 teams in pressure rate in Week 3 and 29th in pressure rate the week prior. Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars offense are in desperate need of a bounce back performance and have a favorable matchup in this spot, as they look to figure some things out. Do not be surprised if Lawrence has his best game of 2023 this weekend.

Justin Fields o185.5 Passing Yards (-114), FanDuel

Justin Fields had only 99 passing yards last weekend, but he was also pressured on 14 of his 29 dropbacks in that contest. Fields has averaged 6.4 yards per attempt this season from a clean pocket, compared to 5.1 yards per attempt when under pressure. Fields’ completion percentage is also 22.2% better from a clean pocket so far in 2023. This weekend, he will face a Denver Broncos defense that is responsible for both of the two lowest defensive pressure rate games by a team so far this fall. Fields could surpass this market number with ease.

NFL DFS Pick’em

Russell Wilson More Than 242.5 Passing Yards, PrizePicks

Entering play on Sunday, Russell Wilson is coming off of back-to-back 300-yard passing performances. Lost in the overall struggles of the Denver Broncos has been the fact that Wilson has actually looked…_good_ so far under Sean Payton. Wilson gets another favorable matchup on Sunday against a Chicago Bears defense that finished 27th in defensive pressure rate in Week 3 and 30th in defensive pressure rate in Week 1. Expect him to put up strong numbers once again.
