Jose Quintana vs Marlins: $45
Well, Yu Darvish didn’t work out so well yesterday, but I’m going to try and fire up another high upside Cub pitcher against what should be a weak Marlins lineup. Quintana was extremely inconsistent last season, but he does have the stuff to be an ace in this league. He finished last season with a 3.80 SIERA, 26.2% K%, and a 8.4% SwStr%. He gets a pitcher’s park in Miami and will be facing the Marlins, a team who shouldn’t have much power in their lineup, as it looks a lot worse this season with the losses of Stanton and Yelich. The Marlins have a tiny 3.3 implied run team total and though attacking them didn’t work so well last night, I’m going right back at them today.
