What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 8.5
- Favored Team – TB -125
Pitcher Grind Down
ARI – Wade Miley has really turned his season around after a horrendous start to the year. He has gotten his ERA down to 3.68 when it was once in the high 5’s. Now the bad news, the Rays are one of the best teams in the league against left hand pitching. Rating = 5
TB – Jeremy Hellickson is coming off of one of his worst performances in the last couple of months and now has to face the D-Backs in the very hitter friendly Chase Field. I know that the Rays are the favorite in this one, but there are so many other pitching options and I doubt Hellickson will be rostered much tonight. Rating = 4
Batter Grind Down
ARI – Paul Goldschmidt is a pretty good option at 1B today, he had a great series against the Red Sox and will look to back that up tonight against Hellickson. And if you are a big BvP guy, you may want to consider Jason Kubel, he has 2 HR’s off of Hellickson.
TB – Evan Longoria is my favorite 3B play tonight. He is facing a lefty in a very hitter friendly park. You can’t pass that up. Sean Rodriguez will likely get a bump up in the lineup and is a very solid sleeper at SS.

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.0
- Favored Team – TEX -155
Pitcher Grind Down
LAA – Garrett Richards has been very average this season. He has a 4.18 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP. Tonight he has a below average against the Rangers and gets the bad draw of having Yu Darvish as the opposing pitcher. Rating = 3
TEX – Yu Darvish is in play no matter who he is playing against or where the game is being played. He is a threat to get double digit K’s every time that he takes the mound. He has put up excellent numbers against the Angels in his career and the Angels will likely be missing both Pujols and Kendrick tonight. Rating = 8
Batter Grind Down
LAA – Mike Trout is really the only Angels player that you should be thinking about taking tonight. Trout has been hot lately and could have another good game tonight. I don’t know if his price tag is worth the risk, but that’s for you to decide.
TEX – The Rangers are in a decent spot tonight. Richards isn’t a terrible pitcher, but he’s not exactly an ace either. I like the way Adrian Beltre has been playing and Elvis Andrus has really turned it on lately.

TOR vs R | TOR BvP | SEA vs R | SEA BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – SEA -170
Pitcher Grind Down
SEA – Felix Hernandez is great at home and he always has been. King Felix has a 2.30 ERA on the season to go along with a 1.06 WHIP and a K rate of around 9 K’s per 9 innings. The matchup against the Jays doesn’t look great on paper, but I will take great pitching over good hitting any day of the week. Rating = 9
TOR – Josh Johnson has been getting shelled lately. He has really struggled to get right hand bats out which typically isn’t the case for right hand pitching. Johnson is a big underdog. Rating = 4
Batter Grind Down
SEA – Johnson is giving up an OPS of 1.047 to right hand bats this season which means you should be targeting all of the right hand bats for the Mariners. Look for Kendrys Morales and Michael Morse to be in good spots to have big games.
TOR – Going against Felix Hernandez, I will make this one easy for you = AVOID

What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.5
- Favored Team – BAL -130
Pitcher Grind Down
SD – Gotta love interleague play right? I’m just not a fan of it. Edison Volquez doesn’t look like a very good option tonight against the Orioles. Yes, this is a very pitcher friendly park, but Volquez hasn’t pitched well this season. Rating = 3
BAL – Bud Norris could be a very sneaky pick tonight. He is making his second start for the Orioles and Norris is a guy that doesn’t get to pitch in pitcher friendly parks very often. He will also get to face the opposing pitcher in the lineup. Rating = 7
Batter Grind Down
SD – The Padres will be without their leadoff man for the rest of the season. I’m not sure how it will affect the team, but I think Norris pitches well tonight. None of the Padres bats really stand out tonight.
BAL – Chris Davis could be a great play even though this one is in Safeco. David crushes right hand pitching and Volquez isn’t good against left hand bats. Looks like a match made in heaven.

MIL vs R | MIL BvP | SFG vs R | SFG BvP
What Vegas Says
- Over/Under Total Runs – 7.0
- Favored Team – SF -175
Pitcher Grind Down
SF – Matt Cain has really turned it on in his last two starts. We’ve talked about how unlucky he has been all season long and that eventually his luck would change. I think we are to that point now. His numbers all look great except for that ERA. I expect him to pitch a great game tonight and a weak Brewers lineup. Rating = 9
MIL – Wily Peralta has been much better lately, but he is a huge underdog and is pitching on the road where he often struggles. I don’t think he is going to get much run support. Rating = 4
Batter Grind Down
SF – Busta, what it is right now. I really like Buster Posey if he is in the lineup tonight. He has been great at home and hasn’t homered in a while. I’m feeling a Posey bomb!
MIL – This Brewers lineup is just awful without Braun, Ramirez, and Hart. Tough matchup today for a very cold offense.
