Ravens vs. Bengals – NFL Wild Card Player Props
- Ja’Marr Chase o76.5 receiving yards
- Joe Mixon u55.5 rushing yards
- Tyler Boyd u3.5 receptions
Ja’Marr Chase o76.5 receiving yards (-110)
During practice this week, Ja’Marr Chase was vocal about the fact that he was not happy with how Baltimore played him in Week 18. Per Paul Dehner, Chase commented specifically that he was not thrilled with Roquan Smith’s hit on him after an end zone incompletion, saying “Dude, he did that on purpose. That’s all right, we got something for that.”
Chase, one of the league’s premier wide receivers, will get an opportunity to get his revenge on Sunday night when the Bengals host the Ravens for the second consecutive week. After returning from injury in early December, Chase eclipsed this number four times in five games played. Expect another strong performance from him in the wild-card round.
Joe Mixon u55.5 rushing yards (-110)
According to Paul Dehner Jr., the Bengals ranked second among all teams in rushing success percentage from Week 5 to Week 14. In that span, Joe Mixon was 4-2 to the over on this market number in the six games he played. Across their final three regular season games, the Bengals ranked 31st in rushing success percentage and 32nd in yards per carry. During that stretch, Joe Mixon totaled only 113 rushing yards on 38 attempts – 3.0 yards per carry. Facing a strong Baltimore defense that will have a healthy Calais Campbell on the defensive line, Mixon is likely to find it difficult to generate success on the ground on Sunday.
Tyler Boyd u3.5 receptions (-125)
Facing respected slot cornerbacks this year, Tyler Boyd has struggled. In Week 8 against Greg Newsome II, Boyd had only three receptions on five targets. Against Cameron Sutton in Week 11, Boyd had only two catches on seven targets. Tonight, Boyd will have a difficult matchup with Kyle Hamilton, who finished the regular season ranked 11th out of 90 players at his position in coverage. If Boyd sees any snaps against Marlon Humphrey, who also played 168 coverage snaps in the slot in 2022, he will be facing a player who ranked 18th out of 122 cornerbacks this year in coverage grade. Boyd is unlikely to make much of an impact on this contest – take the under.
