NBA Player Props, February 10, 2023
- Joel Embiid o9.5 rebounds
- Pascal Siakam o23.5 points
- Bam Adebayo o22.5 points
Joel Embiid o9.5 rebounds (-145), DraftKings
Since Mitchell Robinson last played on January 18, the New York Knicks rank 13th in rebound percentage. In that span, the Knicks have allowed 12 rebounds to “(player-popup #robert-williams-iii)Robert Williams III, 13 rebounds to Ivica Zubac, and 14 rebounds to Joel Embiid – the last three true centers that they have faced. On the season, Embiid has secured at least 10 rebounds in 26 of 41 games, including 18 of 23 games played at home, and 13 of 22 games played on one day of rest. Across his last 10 games overall, Embiid has recorded fewer than nine rebounds only once. In that span, he is averaging 11.0 rebounds on 17.0 rebound chances per contest. The math makes sense here, take the over.
Pascal Siakam o23.5 points (-115), PointsBet
In 46 games played this year, Pascal Siakam has only covered this market number 24 times, which is roughly a break-even hit-rate. However, he has scored at least 24 points in 15 of his last 21 home games, which translates to a 71.4% hit-rate. Siakam is shooting 48.1% from the floor, including 39.5% from beyond-the-arc at home this season, compared to 47.0% from the floor and 26.7% from beyond-the-arc when on the road. Tonight, he gets a favorable matchup against a Utah Jazz team that ranks 26th in defensive efficiency, 24th in opponent field goal percentage, and 20th in opponent three-point percentage in 26 road contests. Expect another strong performance from Siakam in this spot.
Bam Adebayo o22.5 points (-110), DraftKings
Kyle Lowry and Victor Oladipo are both out of the lineup again on Friday for the Miami Heat, which means we are attacking Bam Adebayo on the player prop market. According to CourtIQ, Adebayo is averaging 25.6 points per 36 minutes of action this season with both Lowry and Oladipo on the sidelines. This evening, Adebayo gets an extremely favorable matchup against a Houston Rockets team that ranks 29th in defensive efficiency and 28th in opponent field goal percentage on the road this year. Adebayo is averaging 15.9 field goal attempts per game this season, 13.8 of which are coming in the restricted area or the paint. The Rockets rank 27th in opponent field goal percentage in the restricted area this season and 20th in opponent field goal percentage in the paint. This is a great matchup for Adebayo, with a blowout game script being the primary risk factor. Take the over and live with the result.
