Ahead of tip-off, the Knicks have once again listed Immanuel Quickley as doubtful due to a sprained ankle. The Heat will have everyone healthy and ready to go this evening.

NBA Player Props – Knicks vs. Heat, May 12, 2023

Bam Adebayo o8.5 rebounds (-110), FanDuel

We cashed this ticket easily in Game 4 but were hooked in Game 5 when Bam Adebayo recorded only eight rebounds. We are running this prop back one more time on Friday night. During the first five games of this series, Adebayo has eclipsed this market number three times, with zero games of fewer than eight boards. In 10 postseason games during these playoffs, Adebayo has only one game with fewer than eight rebounds – indicating that he is competitive at this market number each time he takes the floor. Adebayo has a disproportionate responsibility on the glass for Miami due to their lack of size in the frontcourt. He should have every opportunity to hit the over in this spot.

Julius Randle o8.5 rebounds (-130), BetMGM

In Game 5, Julius Randle fell below this market number for the first time in four games in this series. Even after falling short of this number on Wednesday, Randle is averaging a team-leading 17.0 rebound chances per game, nearly four more opportunities per contest than Mitchell Robinson. Since returning from injury in Game 2, Randle has played at least 36 minutes in each contest against the Heat. Only one member of the New York bench played more than 12 minutes in Game 5. Expect head coach Tom Thibodeau to ride or die with his starters in this matchup as the team looks to force a Game 7 back in their home building.

NBA DFS Pick’em

RJ Barrett less than 20.5 points, PrizePicks

R.J. Barrett proved us wrong in Game 5, but we recommend going back to the well in this spot on Friday evening. Simply, Barrett is not a sharpshooter from the perimeter, evident by his 31.0% mark from beyond the arc during the regular season. During this series against the Miami Heat, Barrett has somehow knocked down 41.2% of his shots from long range, helping propel him to four games with at least 24 points scored. He is due for regression from the three-point line. Add in that fatigue from playing heavy minutes could lead to legs that are less than 100 percent fresh – Barrett is due for an inefficient night from the floor.
