CheeseIsGood's Million Dollar Musings: Monday, May 24th

Happy Monday! We’ve got a smaller slate with six games tonight, all leaning heavier to the pitching side. There are no totals above 9 and I have at least some interest in every single pitcher on this slate, except the one facing the Tigers.

Before even digging in, I’m already concerned about how I’m going to build an upside offense that I like. My initial instinct here is that I’m just as happy with mid-tier and cheap pitching, but I’m not sure we’re going to need it, since the spend up bats are not in great spots. Let’s jump on in and see if things clear up as we work through it.

I’m going to break it into two tiers, but it’s fairly close to just one big tier. At least based on salary and overall skill set, these are the top four pitchers on this slate:

Brandon Woodruff vs San Diego
John Means at Minnesota
Lance Lynn vs St. Louis
Blake Snell at Milwaukee
