Through thousands of simulations using ScoresAndOdds’ ParlayIQ tool we aim to create profitable same-game parlays across sports betting sites. We will examine stats, roster news, trends, player props, and betting odds across sportsbooks to find the best combination of picks for primetime betting parlays. Today, we build a Monday Night Football same-game parlay for the Commanders vs Eagles.

Happy Monday, Grinders! We are closing the Week 10 NFL slate with an NFC East divisional contest between the Washington Commanders and the Philadelphia Eagles. The birds are flying high with an undefeated 8-0 record entering this evening. Since Carson Wentz was injured, the Commanders have been more competitive with Taylor Heinicke handling the offensive reins. The Eagles are a large favorite but we can always create our own excitement with a same-game parlay ticket on FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s preview the game and then jump into some prop picks.

Same Game Parlay for Commanders vs. Eagles

The Eagles are instill at 10.5-point favorites at home against the Commanders. The implied game total rests at 43.5 at the time of this writing. 54% of betting tickets sit with the Commanders while 55% of the money has been bet on the Eagles side of the betting spread. As for the total, 94% of the betting dollars have been placed on the under throughout the week. The total moved a full point over the course of the week.

For injuries, Avonte Maddox was ruled out for this game with a hamstring injury. The Eagles are still without Jordan Davis.

J.D. McKissic remains out with his neck injury. Chase Young returned to practice but he was not activated for tonight’s game. Jahan Dotson is back for the Commanders.

Another version of hammer vs nail is on tap tonight. Will the Eagles smash the Commanders? The last time we saw the Eagles against an inferior team the contest was relatively close. Will the Commanders keep it close? Let’s get to some props.

Same Game Parlay Picks – Commanders & Eagles Props

Jalen Hurts Over 240.5 Passing Yards

We open with the game’s superstar. Jalen Hurts is currently second in betting odds for the Regular Season MVP at +340 on FanDuel — just behind Patrick Mahomes. I would suspect that those odds will shorten if Hurts puts together a great performance tonight to keep the Eagles undefeated.

The Commanders are relatively stout against the run — representing a problem for the Eagles that like to run the ball early and often. Instead, Washington is more middle-of-the-pack against the pass with respect to passing yards per game. While this game might be ugly, I think Washington will force Hurts to throw the football to beat them (or maybe run).

ParlayIQ agrees and features 60% of the 4,853 simulations of this game with Hurts exceeding this total. We open with this leg.

Terry McLaurin Over 49.5 Receiving Yards

Working over to the other side of the field, we start with Terry McLaurin going over his receiving prop. Since Taylor Heinicke has taken over for Commanders, McLaurin has reestablished himself as the alpha in the Washington offense.

A spike in targets over the last few weeks (8, 8, 9) has seen McLaurin see an uptick in yardage. The Eagles are a strong defense against the pass but will be without Avonte Maddox for tonight’s contest. With Jahan Dotson returning, the Commanders have enough options to free F1 up.

I believe that 49.5 yards is far too modest even in a tough matchup. If this game is even remotely competitive, Terry McLaurin needs to be active in the passing game. I will follow the direction ParlayIQ is pointing me and add this to our ticket.

Antonio Gibson Over 33.5 Rushing Yards

The Commanders seem very motivated to make Brian Robinson a thing. While I do think Robinson will continue to see a majority of the running back carries, Antonio Gibson has just looked better as of late. With J.D. McKissic out, Gibson continues to see work on passing downs and in tempo offense.

Gibson sees most of his work through the air but has seen 11, 7, and 10 carries over the last few weeks. The Commanders should look to control the game on the ground to keep Jalen Hurts off the field but if and when this game gets out of hand, Gibson might take over when playing from behind. Our projections get Gibson to about 40 yards. I think he is worth the addition. ParlayIQ seems to prefer the over on Gibson’s rushing prop but the under on Robinson. This could be a case of ParlayIQ just preferring Gibson because the number is lower.

In any event, we add Gibson as leg three.

Dallas Goedert Over 45.5 Receiving Yards

Dallas Goedert feels like old reliable for me any time the Eagles make it to primetime. Against Houston, Goedert hit the 100-yard mark on nine targets. Against a better Pittsburgh defense, Goedert exceeded 60 yards on 6 targets. In fact, Goedert has only failed to go north of 60 yards in two games this season.

Consequently, one of those games was against the Commanders. That being said, if the volume continues to come his way, Goedert’s prop is just too low. We close with his over.
